I haven’t finished the video but so far I’m really disappointed in the way Liana handled this. A menstrual cycle is not disgusting, dirty or nasty. Putting that idea in her head isn’t good for her self confidence as a growing young lady. Do research on the process of menstruation and try to change the verbiage being used to describe it.

A girl starting her menstrual cycle is a big thing and it's also an achievement that they are on their way to becoming a teen or they might already be a teen and look forward to becoming a young lady soon. Like you I also didn't freak out and went about the right way in clapping and showing them what to do, asking if they have any stomach pains. I didn't go through this with my mother as generation then i guess wasn't so open to talk about it. Il tell you this is a great bonding time with the little madams. Lol.
