I am not a film historian, but I am 65 and a big film history buff. I really appreciate the inclusion of the 1898 and 1901 film clips. I had no idea! The woman who narrated has both a very pleasant and professional voice, no small feat for a "female" voice (which I get to say as a female professional speaker!). The script is above par too and includes details not usually recited in these types of videos (Y2K bug!) Thanks for the excellent effort. It's on my Christmas docs Playlist. Welldone!

Those clips were not from the original Miracle on 34th Street

Well spotted! We had clips from a few versions of the film but we must’ve cut out the original in the final edits. Thank you for letting us know!

The clips were from a television adaption with MacDonald Carey and Thomas Mitchell as Kris Kringle. The problem was they only had an hour and couldn't properly tell the story. There was another television version with Sebastian Cabot and it was the first time lots of ever saw Miracle On 34th Street.

How could you not include “A Christmas Story” or “White Christmas” at all, but you give honorable mention to “Office Christmas party”. Seriously!!

Thank you for your feedback. We agree that “A Christmas Story” and “White Christmas” are true classics. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to include all the great Christmas films while keeping the video at a reasonable length and wanted to include a range of different genres from all the different decades so that there was something for everyone.
