Thank you for presenting this webinar it is so informative for us parents trying to navigate our kids' brains ❤ having a neurodivergent child can be so exhausting, the constant repetition, constant helicoptering etc but having an understanding of going on in their brains can help us help THEM better ❤

I didn’t want to have a kid that sits still. I was absolutely delighted by all the flips and somersaults. He stopped napping early too, but I was the same way. He’s an insomniac and sensitive like his mom.
I find the negative language about warnings and risks for having ADHD perpetuate a negative stereotype and stigma. I’ve been seeking help for my kid for the last 3 years, but it is being denied. At this point, I’m going to stop asking about ADHD and just seek mental health support in general. I want to be proactive, but it seems to be frowned upon and my concerns are dismissed as if I am projecting.

So frustrating. I've been unpleasantly surprised by how teachers seem to have no idea about the genetic component, as if these things just pop up out of nowhere (and then "disappear in adulthood" 😒🙄😤but I digress...) The apple doesn't fall far from the tree!! That's why you know what you're talking about. You are not projecting!

I’m a teacher in a regular classroom but some years I get a kid I suspect has ADHD. Does that mean I have to resort to rewards and excessive praise to cater to his dopamine deficiency compared to other kids? My problem is the other kids think it’s unfair, and my fear is over reliance on extrinsic rewards and verbal affirmations for a behaviour that is expected of all other kids.

Good presentation though it sounded like a lot borrowed from Cindy Goodrich program, and the presenter plugged her masterclass several times during the presentation,

I just wanted to ask are you and or your daughter twice exceptional? What age did your daughter get diagnosed with adhd? My daughter is only 18 months but it’s always been pretty obvious she was different. It’s frustrating that doctors don’t even want to look into the behavior until they are like 4. Don’t want to waste 3 1/2 years when we could be doing therapy
