- There's always something going on in the New York Subway - Music, art and entertainers to name a few, but one thing that's lacking is human interaction. We could be sitting next to a fellow commuter for quite sometime yet we don't say "hey buddy" and many a time avoid eye contact.
Starting conversation is so important and to break down those imaginary walls I decided to take it to the next level and throw a Dj Dance Party on the Subway.

Throwing a Dance Party on the Subway was more than just having fun, it was about breaking through to one's fellow commuter- ( and potential new friend)

I lived in NYC for 20 years and took the 1 train all the time up to 232nd Street. I wish something like this had happened when I was riding that train! Woohoo!!!

Oh, my Gods! I have been riding the MTA Subway of NYC for more than twenty years, and I have never been on this train.
I want to ride this train!
A long time ago I was in the subway holding on the train "pole" then suddenly the train took off really fast , I was having trouble standing and I recently broke my leg a few days ago. EVERYBODY jumped to catch me from falling!!! black , white, women, guys, social classes, etc.. everybody showed their American love ! that was a huge lesson for me! New Yorker's do have a heart!
This is the absolute best video EVER - I don't even want to admit how many times I've watched it and wished I could have been there. Thank you so much for reminding us that there IS a better way... with joy.

Cheeesinggg!! I so very much wish I would have gotten the chance to experience this sheer wonderfullness!! I would have undoubtedly had the time of my life! Beyond this, I'm incredibly fond of the deeper intention of carrying this out! I'm a Brooklynite born and raised. I've traveled to a number of truly amazing places and these travels have more times than not allowed me the opportunity to see how sincerely I value and crave for more meaningful human connections! One of the reasons I've always been less fond of living in this city is that a majority of the time, people are so incredibly disconnected, desensitized, not even really noticing one another! This though, smiles a big smile, this would have truly been one of the best subway experiences I would have ever had! Also, provided me with a sense of some sort of closeness to my fellow New Yorkers and possibly provided me with some hope that despite the mass seeming desensitization, I'm not alone in craving that (closeness here)!!. Brilliant idea to whoever came up with this and carried it out! I'm appreciative of even having the chance to see this video! And I sincerelyy hope that I may one day get to experience this!!! I'm sure I'd intentionally miss my stop and stay on as long as possible!!! Though I veryy unfortunately wasn't there, I'm still thankful that you (or if this is just a video you've posted) /whoever made this happen!!!😄😄😄🙏🙏🙏🤗

love this the guys had a brilliant idea of how to bring people together. All u have to do is look at the different variety of faces, the races, ages and dance style and that didn't matter.......music is a gift of love its one of the few things in the world dat just doesn't see or quite frankly colour, .....u just feel the beat.

Omg.i enjoyed this video where every different races of different colours just having a great time. They all forget about colours and just laughter all over the train. What amazing seeing such beautiful performance. This is what should always take place in the train. Bringing people of all races together. Peace.
I love it. I ride a commuting bus everyday and our bus driver threw a pizza party for all the passengers around Christmas. This video reminds me of that.
