Can't beat musket gameplay! Power shot is definitely the way to go in season 2. This is singlehandedly due to how fluid the new loading mechanic is for those loaded abilities. Musket gameplay feels so much smoother now. I wanted to push back on the build a little bit though, and would seriously consider dropping stopping power. Full trapper builds overvalue stopping power and one's ability to take advantage of Lethal Combo, and seriously undervalue the effective damage output and utility of powder burn with crippling powder burn. I've written on it before in some new world discords and can break it down if interested. But definitely crunch the numbers if you are on the fence. Look at effective uptimes, effective damage output, guaranteed damage output vs damage output requiring additional execution. Look at how some abilities better enable rapier gameplay over others (rapier is the real killer in this kit), and which abilities better complement groups (when you find yourself in one). Consider practical gameplay against good pvpers and time to kill, and how good players can counter your ability to take advantage of Lethal Combo (dodging/blocking, disengaging, engaging, using cover etc.). There are certainly other factors to consider as well. When you break it all down, powder burn beats stopping power, and it's not even close.
@@KristoferESO those two abilities and traps is definitely a play! I'm loving powder burn / powershot / traps, but you can't go wrong with stopping power either
Yo, nice vid bud. I wounder if i can replace kemp for smhing better or its bis? Coz i wonna craft trap + perk musket since tombrider is pain in the ass to farm
how do you get such good ping? im averaging 180 - 220 ping in my preferred region, on other games i get 40 - 30 ping, i even activated high bandwidth usage and telementary in settings.
Yeah I agree the bloom feels real bad at times especialy with no accuracy perk, I hope AGS can make some more changes to musket so it's not so RNG but doesn't become the sniper menace it was before!
@KristoferESO agreed. Get rid of rng and the silly accuracy perk, then figure the right dmg fall of distance. I would rather poke with the musket from long range for 200 dmg then not be able to land 9 out of 10 shots
@@DreadfulNWsorry your just wrong, I’ve gone over in Great detail every aspect of musket, and bow out classes it in every single possible way. The only place it shines more in is if you have accuracy, and can pick off some random dude alone that’s at 20% hp that just doesn’t feel like healing I’ve mained musket bow for 3.5k hours, it’s just so much easier to hit shots with that massive arrow hit box, not to mention the higher dps and AOE capability Now if you’re telling me the enemy’s hit box for their head is the size of a bison? Aight yea musket has some serious dps capability with critical reload, Empowering shooter stance, resuplly headshot and more. But common be real, the reality is most of your shots hit wind in PvP, and the muskets skill tree is pretty heavily geared towards consistent, sequential headshots. Which I mean is actually super fun in Invasions for spriggans and and skulls because it’s soooo fun to rapid fire that thing with headshots. Great invasion build I will tell you that
Hey hey I took the 3 points out of sticky bomb and out two into power shot and one into the hip fire accuracy passive! I'm just playing around with different trees right now so haven't landed on anything solid yet
I use the Tomb Raider, it's not a bad weapon but you can get a better one for sure off the trade post! Attunement, enchanted, accel traps would be ideal
I have binged watched your vids. Great quality content and you manage to keep one engaged throughout the whole video. Perfect pacing
It's like that last guy in area chat knew he was closing out the video.
Was playing OPR last night, the enemy team was 90% musket 10% melee/FS/Bow and it was insanely frustrating and I blame you
Haha I'm just a musket casual right now, it's the real OGs that you gotta watch out for like @For70years!

i'm super interested! my musket hits like a wet noodle and i can't figure out why so would love to hear numbers and theory!
interested in seeing your build as well!
Great feedback man! I definitely want to try powderburn out, or even a mix of powder burn and stopping power for 40%+ damage bonus could be cool!
@@EDMVNDEE ill try and post something soon :) will be a first

Do you have accuracy on your musket? I can’t hit crap with mine😅

Hey I think tomb raider is a great stand in if you have it but honesty accelerating traps + enchanted + attunement would be the gun of dreams

how did picking powershot affect your trapper tree?
Took the 3 points out from sticky bomb and put them into the first 2 power shot points and the hip fire accuracy perk
@@KristoferESO thanks
i know you dont play eso anymore but would you consider bringing back the top 5 fights series for it alongside top 5 new world?
I need idea and how to farm musket
Im glad you are having fun with the worst feeling ranged weapon in all of mmo games.
It's lowkey strong rn which power shot and reload changes
@DreadfulNW the fact that you need an accuracy perk just to make it so your shots don't fly off in random directions is just silly to me.

First!
There is no powershot build i couldn’t find it.
It's in this video's description.
Thank you but they all sticky bomb build there is no powershot skill tree.
