Is there a way to adjust the speed of the text typing?
Click on the Text Node go to modifiers and instead of making the delay 50 like he did earlier in the video you can adjust the number to change the speed
yeah, at 2:55 or so in your video, you show a screen of 'this is what we should have right now'. and that's not what I have. You have each letter being typed and showing up. When I watch my timeline, what I have are all my letters typed out already and the cursor flashing from one letter to the next (beginning with the first letter of my text).

You should make this an OFX for those of us (looks around) who are lazy.
I 've done everything you said but my text is displayed from the beginning while the bar scans over it. How do I get my text to show up after being scanned?
that's cool and it worked fully but how can i make it that i have multiple texts under each others going after one another with the cursorflash just like in movies?

I also did not have the text showing. For those of you on pc, click the merge cell, hit "control + T", for those of you on a Mac, click the merge cell and hit "command + T"

it's not showing my text type out 1 letter at a time. They already appear typed and the cursor is hopping from 1 letter to the end if I press play and watch it.
it worked for me up until the last point, i put scan lines on and it only affected the cursor. also how to you overlay this over a video ? thx so much
It only effected your cursor, because you chose very bright green colour for you text. Adjust it to darker green and adjust the scanlines settings accordingly. (I had a same issue, this worked for me)

I dont see my text in fusion... I tried to follow it step by step, but I just dont see the text I typed...
Make sure your merge node is setup corec. Click the merge node and hit control T. Let me know if that works.
@@FilmcoreDigital thanks for the feedback!!! I kind of fixed it by adding another text note and dragging that text offscreen... But strangely with that move the other text is now visiable.... haha. I will try tonight if I can adjust the merge note settings! Thanks for the video, happy with the result! Making a james bond style little opening scene for a holiday video.
