The private school i was part of was very understaffed and the teacher was simultaneously the teacher and the nurse. The Principle also taught the high school grade levels and i was around the 2nd grade when i was in this school. Also, I look forward to all your videos everyday!!! 💖
As someone who went to private school for a pretty long time, i can confirm that the staff were extremely mean for no reason
Sad that this stuff happens, and it's actually more common than you would think.
Something somewhat similar to this happened to a friend of mine when we were in 5th grade. It wasn't as serious as your situation, but he slipped and fell down a small staircase and wounded his lip. He was treated by the school's staff, but for some reason they decided to not let him go home, and kept him in the school until the end of the schoolday. When the school called his parents to notify them they said he was okay and there was just a little bit of blood and nothing serious, and they didn't even let him talk to his parents.
His parents didn't sue the school, but it's still sad this happened.
Props to your parents who sued your school, they had it coming.

yeah I had something similar, however it was my PE teacher in a private school. We did rugby and basically even though my foot was like searing with pain, and he knew that I had an achilles heal issue, he just kept pushing me to do more and play the game, and then when it my achilles heal just snapped and I litteraly could not move it and was crying he just told me to go get an ice pack. It turned out to cause more issues with some bones in my foot as well and I had to get an operation, but no one there cared at all and just wanted me to continue with PE, so I feel your pain. Private schools are overrated anyways, theyre so much worse, I am in a normal school now and it is so much better. We didn't sue though. Anyways have a good day!

Also to my mom happened something similar. When she used to be a kid she played dodgeball with a gimnastic 2kg ball so when a viking threw it at her she broke her middle finger badly. She didnt tell anyone and now it has no fix xD

Bro I feel you one time when I was at school I had hurt my knee very badly and when u went to the nurse she just laughed (on a private school)
Im in the UK, and I even tho i was extremely young had the knowledge to sue my school however my parents wouldnt let me, i had chipped a bone in my knee during football (soccer) and the teacher looked at me and said "your fine you can walk" even tho he could see i couldnt stand and how heavily swollen my knee was, after sitting down in the medical area, we applied ice to only see my knee got more swollen...
We then went to the hospital and after further examination found out my knee was swollen with blood and i needed an operation to get the blood and bone fragments removed from my knee...
I didnt want to sue the school but i wanted to sue the teacher for being improperly medically trained, as i know that is a requirement for a PE teacher, however a few years later when going back to catchup with the teachers, i found out that PE teacher was fired due to similar circumstances

I tried to sue my school for allowing TWO girls to s**ually harass me for THREE MONTHS, trying to touch me and follow me into the bathroom… the school didn’t even care because from their perspective “they were just joking”… I hate double standards

I think it’s kind of a common theme among private schools. One time I was at recess and I started to feel sick and so I asked to go the nurse. I went there and they told me to sit and wait for the nurse. I stayed there for 45 minutes and no one came and after about an hour I gave up and went back to class. I ended up just having a fever and a stomach ache but to this day I still don’t understand why there was literally no nurse lol. If it was something serious it could have gotten a lot worse by the time school ended just like yours did.
