As a person that, in some instances, makes these type of videos I certainly agree with all of your points and I hate to try 'cancel' people but my video's only come from a place of me talking about what i'm interested in and sometimes that conflicts with controversial situations. Great take though!
I make drama content, not only for views but for spreading awareness and giving my opinion as well. Drama content also kinda sucks for creators because drama doesn't happen often, but you still want to upload consistently. I have uploaded some content that isn't drama (that I enjoyed making more) and it did terribly, making me think drama is the only thing that is going to help my channel grow. This type of content isn't necessarily bad but it can spread negativity to a huge group of people who are not aware of the given and a lot of these viewers are also kids too which further more leads to these viewers hating the shown people without any reason and leads to such people who said a slur like 4 yrs ago in a 2b2t all chat having really bad reputation. Also another thing i should mention that like 80-90% of these "documentary" youtubers who expose others are tier 3 scumbags themselves, like ive seen the biggest racist people on the planet calling someone out for hacking while they're literally hacking themselves, also what wrong with making videos on what good things happen in the community too instead of just making random lazy cash grabs and call them "expose documentary". CONTENT.
Ngl if you milk smth too hard your kinda weird but also ig so you can get views and money but doing it so badly to the point where your milking smth’s death is crazy the people making content on these things are actually weird like make 1 or 2 abt like “this is the day that our hero died” or smth idk what people would say right but making more than 5 is unnecessary
