- yo yo what's up budget crew. Quick video on how I installed these eBay DRL for my mom's elantra. If you watch till the end you will see that I unfortunately received 2 defective kits I did however finish the compete install. thanks for watching let me know if you have any questions in the comments down below.

To see if they’re defective or not connect them direct to the battery. If they turn on they are good and if they don’t then your wiring is no good
As of right now I have the DRL from kit number 2 installed with the harness from kit number 1. The passenger side DRL is still working good just the driverside that is out.
With the first set of DRL from kit number 1 the passenger DRL was the first to go bad then the driver side DRL. Now like I said the passenger side is the one that's fully functional and driver side is out if it was the wiring wouldn't it have gone bad by now? I'm thinking the wiring is good no? If I hook up them up directly to the battery how will that test the light itself?
Any updates whether you found a solution?
I'm going to replace the harness completely to see if that is the issue. I took apart the driver side DRL and everything was fine so it honestly has to be the harness at this point.
@joserosas5420 both DRL are working now. Looks like the harness was the issue! 🫡
Is that an OEM lip spoiler? Looks very sporty.

@@budgetfixes Thank you so much for the link. I really appreciate it. I'm going to purchase a different style of DRL kit. (The one with the switch back LED lights) I've seen a few UA-cam DIY videos on how to wire them. I hope the kit works well with no issues.
Ofcourse 🤜🤛 could you please let me know how those work out! I'm going to replace the DRL harness and see if that fixes the issue if it doesn't I might get the same kit you're talking about.
