Thank you for a great video that is concise, clear and easy to follow. I accomplished this task this afternoon with ease because of your instructions. Thank you for posting. I have now subscribed to this channel!
I have the same unit and after cleaning the filters, my pool is still could after following all the correct steps to clean… could there be a crack in the pvc pipe that pulls the water out of the filters and back to the pool?…
@@VIPPoolsandSpas I just realized instead of writing “cloudy” autocorrect typed could. Also, I’m sure this is an install mistake because my 4 cartridges don’t sit flush and they never have. I’m assuming the tall pvc pipe with the o-ring is about 1/4” too long?… they don’t sit as flush/tight as your video.
@@harbinger8083 I had to rewatch the video. lol I forgot what was in that video. SO. Don't cut the pipe. The pipe isn't sitting in the bottom right. See if it will twist off. It shouldn't be easy to take off. Might not be sitting down all the way. Could have been when they made the canister. Everything you see in the video is as it should be. If yours is not, you might want to look at a different one. Whats in the video is what your filter canister should be.

Great video. Do you have to close the valves as well or can leave them alone if the pump is off?
Sure, you can do that.

@@VIPPoolsandSpas my pool is going on 6 yrs old so I’m assuming it needs to be cut 1/4”. I don’t ever recall it sitting a snug as your video.
