Common sense isn’t so common. This is the problem. The whole “politics shouldn’t be in conversation” is bullshit. We shouldn’t talk about politics because it’ll create discord and tension? Because we DON’T talk about politics, because we DON’T want to LISTEN to others, because we LACK the maturity to have a civil and respectable discussion about politics, is exactly why politics cause inharmonious relationships between people. People are selfish and stubborn. People put their views and opinions out there and instead of maybe reaching out an saying, “Hey, I’ve got to be honest with you, I disagree with your views. Can you tell me why you believe in this? Let me tell you what I think.” Our society lacks basic respect, decency, and maturity.

But I wish more people could see as clearly as you and Tom do, Crypt. I've seen a lot of republicans who used to say things like "we should all stick together" and now that there's a possibility he might lose, they're screaming that it's unfair and fraudulent. We humans never learned how to truly love one another and at this point it feels like we never will.
