I spent nearly the whole last weekend in my garden to try to film some interesting plnaes crossing my home town in Germany. I used my Canon 5dII + Canon 2x Extender + 2x Extender + another Canon 1,5x Extender. The outside temperature was -5°C (around 20°F) which had the advantage that I didn` t have to get along with Heat haze. Thanks for watching and I hope you like it.

funny how my 3 year-old son spends hours watching trains and im like "yeah thats because he's a child" and then I spend hours watching planes...

Hands down the best filming aswell as the steadiest and best quality shots of aircraft at (or around ) their cruise level!
I'm pretty sure the KLM MD-11 was heading for Tehran =)
I must commend you again on your brilliant high altitude footage and thank you for posting it. I was looking to see if the 747-8's funky scalloped fan cowlings leave a distinctive contrail but to no avail.

Great!! I see that A380 taking off from Houston to Frankfurt every few days on my way home from work. It's a sight to see that big huge plane up in the air on takeoff. Greetings from Houston, Texas!!

Gute Aufnahmen!Der Flugverkehr über Deutschland hat ein erschreckendes Ausmaß angenommen, ein Wunder daß nicht mehr passiert und viel Glück gehört auch dazu.
Täglich gibt es viele Gefahren Situationen! Ich benutze die Flightradar 24 App und damit sieht man den Flugverkehr weltweit und bekommt Nachricht bei Notrufen und man kann die meisten Flugzeuge identifizieren!

Love the way you used your tripod! I cannot for the life of mine hold still using the p900 lol and i hate tripods, as . i suck at panning with them, i seem to skip.
But your clip kept so well focused and clear with no wobbline or shaking... this was so smooth to watch, and exactly what im always trying to capture with my 900

Great video, Interesting info, Thanks. Good to see that even with three tele-extenders it's still adequate quality for video. Must be hard to focus, though. Would you mind sharing details about the lens or how you managed to get stable shots? Fluid-damped tripod head?
Wow that's amazing! I take pictures with my dslr of planes at cruising altitude. By the way, how did you manage to keep the camera so steady even if you were using a tripod?
Airplanes reach between 10,000 and 30,000 feet above the troposphere, which the air becomes thin and hot (or cold). As a result, airplanes are so heavy that their engines start to get exhausted. So pilots enable chemtrails to refresh the airplanes' engines.
And speaking of chemtrails, they get long because of high humidity. And chemtrails get shorten because of low humidity.

planes fly their approach almost everyday including widebodies, narrowbodies, turboprop, cessna 172s, learjets, cessna citations, and most prop planes

At 4:03 that plane originated most likely from Dover Air Force Base in Dover, Delaware, USA.
