This is such a powerful diversion from other Pokémon boss themes. Usually, there's a catchy melody or something to inspire your victory. Not here. N was your age and he gave you that. This is a powerful, cruel king. He's not here for fun. He's got other plans.
Pit: How many times do we need to teach you this lesson old man? *escapes Ganoncide and uses up B* Hero: Yeah let me just gimp you and pray to RNG-esus Little Mac: You’re better than me at least
I wouldn't be surprised if he actually abused the poor thing into evolving prematurely. That Hydreigon does run Frustration in BW2, clearly hates Ghetsis.

At the risk of sounding No-Prizey, they're not directly from that theme - the pitches of the timpani are literally "G" and "Cis" (C♯). It's a tritone, AKA Diabolus in Musica.
I love how this is one of the few tracks in the Pokémon games that have vocals. Not arceus, the creation trio, rayquaza, or any champion (aside maybe Leon). The person with actual meaningful lyrics is the most evil person in Pokémon. Edit: sorry I forgot about zacian and zamazenta.

I always dread this fight. That Hydreigon is a pain in the ass. People always tell you that you go for some move that can knock it out, but there is good chance that thing moves first and could potentially knock your strongest pokemon out in one hit. You go into that battle under leveled a lot of time unless if you are crazy enough to grind for so long. Even then it's not enough if the RNG decides to screw with you
I plowed through the game using Crustle almost exclusively after obtaining it, and it became hilariously overlevelled as a result. So Hydreigon didn't stand much of a chance against a shell-smashed X-Scissor.
Yeah, I hate that the highest level wild pokemon are level 38 not counting post game, and the ones that appeared in victory road had terrible exp yield to boot
A villain so vile he is scorned by nearly everyone, even his own Pokémon hate him as seen in BW2, his Hydreigon has the move "Frustration" which hits at max power (which is possible when happiness is at 0).
I haven't quite played the whole game through yet and got curious after hearing it on one of those "Gen 5 Music goes hard" videos, and all I can say is that this really reminds me of the music from Twilight Princess, and I feel like that's saying something.
I am determined to share this fact on every upload of this theme because I think it's neat. Ghetsis' Hydreigon in this game is purpose built to sweep N's team. It knows Dragon Pulse, Fire Blast, Surf, and Focus Blast. Between those moves, he has an answer to all of N's pokemon
It would've been really cool if both the Bw main character and N showed up to face ghetsis in Bw2 Hilda could be in B2 while Hilbert would be in W2 cuz that's how it was in Evolutions and generations

I never actually noticed that Ghetsis is dressed for royalty compared to N.
Kinda aids in the idea of him being the true ruler of Team Plasma.
Remember, this guy has no issues with manipulating a child, and later on straight up attempts to murder another one.
