I understand how you could feel that way but alot of these scammers are forced into what they do because they have either lost their job (especially because of COVID), or need more money to support a new baby for instance. Obviously not trying to defend these people but if you need money you'd be surprised to see how low people are willing to go.
If it makes you feel any better, they probably aren't heartless to their kids. That whole thing is reserved for making the money
@@Nimbus3690 Yeah sadly usually the people who go into scamming are at their rock bottom over there and desperate to provide for their families. Doesn't excuse what they do though, and definitely doesn't excuse the attitude and audacity of some of the scammers.

@@vengefulcloud2337 In simplified terms a "call" is betting that the stock will go up, but there is a time limit in which the contract expires. If you were to pay for a call that is already expired, you would just be donating your money to them for free, as an expired call is worthless and cannot be used. Kinda like an expired coupon. SPY is just the ticker symbol for a popular/big "group" of stocks basically

If you take enough interest in something, you saturate your mind with information about it and constantly seek answers to your questions until one day you realize you fully understand something that once seemed overwhelming and impossible. As soon as they hear the word money or any sum of money, their brains (if they possess one at all) just go full ooga booga. Really, I've seen so many vids now and often when they smell the troll scent, they are brought back into their scamming routines when they see or hear money lol. These guys are so greedy that they would believe anything if you told them they will get money (including Kit calling them with their own scam script and they actually believe they will get a refund lol)

It happen from time to time, i had once a prince from nigeria that want to give me 100.000$ but i couldnt pay him the legal fees for doing so. It was 700$ :-(

Even if what they want is to steal from these people, they are so impatient and horrid. They might 'have no choice' for what their job is, but how they speak to people, that is their choice.

Being betrayed by someone you thought was your friend is always worse than when it's some jerk that screws you over. There's also the added element of the elderly person then feeling really foolish/stupid and questioning their own ability to make decisions and trust people, if they were betrayed by someone that they thought was helping them and truly cared.
I wasn't suggesting that I think they should be kind to steal. Just that they have a choice in how they speak to someone.
Nothing says serious professional investor like a screaming baby in the background.
I would like to see more videos about "actually getting the money" either that is from poorly inspect element up to these type of scams. Its not in their script how to handle such situation and its funny to see them try to adjust in the new "reality"

I got an “Amazon “ call the other day and when the guy started talking I said, Kitboga. He immediately hung up. 😂
Sometimes I wish I'd get actual scam calls. But instead it's always 4 seconds of silence then auto-hangup. And I get these several times a day sometimes. If it's meant to put me on a call list, I'd have been on it a long time ago, and in that case, why are they still silent robocalls? Weird. Just scam me already haha.
@@mikeexits Don't answer and a minute later you will get a fake "You have a missed call, dial this number to listen to your voicemail", that's where the scam starts.
Not only the scammers are heartless, but they're also brainless.
So unless it's an elderly people, they get confident and raise their tone, but the moment a person who knows his job come into the picture they reveal themselves as small pathetic parasites.

The pretend $150m is just the carrot, like in any scam. Endless advanced fees would need to be paid before the $150m 'investment money' would be released. It's a garden variety 419 scam dressed up as an investment opportunity.
The dumbest part that they think that the person who has that amount of money is fool enough to fall for their scam.

Same here! I'm obsessed with scammers, and their tactics, and everything about it. There's no youtube channel on that subject thatI haven't checked out and subscribed to. Any kind of scam. "Pleasant Green", "Catfished" and few others are my favorite.

Nice to see you branching out to some of these african scammers. Definitely less prepared than the call center ones but the premise is usually way crazier and you can get them to agree to some crazy stuff. Hoax Hotel showed me the way

The youtuber Deyo has a great series of videos where he scambaited an african scammer for like a year and got him to do several video calls, including one where the scammer was sitting on the toilet talking to him lol.

I've noticed when confronted they often say "you're just as bad!" "you're a criminal!" or something racist
It's interesting how hard they attempt to dehumanize the people they are scamming and I think thats how they deal with the guilt.
I think this is why it's important to understand your own capacity for evil, take a hard think about the terrible things you could do and how you would do it and then use that self awareness to recognize when you might be slippin.

Watching this is so satisfying lol. I came across a scammer about 4 days ago reaching out to me for a job through my email and directed me to chat through Telegram and Skype. They claimed they'd send me money through direct deposit or a check to buy office supplies to work for them once I gave them my bank info during the interview. I thought things were iffy so I delayed my meeting with them to provide my bank info and reached out to the actual company. They stated they don't reach out to people through emails or have interviews over the phone, and they don't ask for bank information during interviews. Furthermore, they have in person interviews in New York and I'm in California. I immediately blocked the people I was in contact with and I thank God I remembered some of the content from your videos. Thank you so much for providing these videos, they are entertaining and also informative.

Is this really that common of a way to abandon a family? In my case it was extremely different. Well actually the premise was different because my mom made stupid decisions and pushed my dad away and divided our family apart, and convinced me my dad is evil, but even those I know who were orphaned or had a dad abandon them didn't have this kind of story.
I'm just trying to understand where this trope came from and why it's so commonly repeated online. It's repeated often enough that it surely can't still be for laughs, right? Otherwise I guess trollface is probably still funny to some people too lol.

I literally got a call from a scammer mid watching this video. He told me that I had won 973 million dollars and a new car from publishers clearing house. I told him if he wants people to believe that he should sound less like a robot when he calls them. He then hung up on me.

I live in France and for a few months now, a myriad of scams are going on, mostly by links sent through SMS or by multiple scammers calling us from overseas. I guess, if I had never seen any of your content, I would have fallen into one of those scams. My grandma, to whom I speak about this subject on a regular basis, got scammed recently (sadly, she's around 88 now and I know this would happen at some point...), but she had the immediate reflex to call her bank to cancel the payment. If she had been able to speak English, I would have introduced her directly to your channel. Sincerely yours
