    well filmed Paul ..Bike is a Time Machine on them two. Fair bit of heather bashing up first one and second.. rivers were a fair bit higher when I did them a few years ago. I have a vid of it on my channel..New sub mate !!

    • @PAADVENTURES1
      @PAADVENTURES1  Рік тому

      Cheers Larry and thanks very much for the sub! I felt a bit nervous for this walk due to the remoteness and distance but it turned out brilliant! The bike definitely makes a difference and I was lucky with the river levels! Just a trickle. Quite a workout up to the first one and I imagine it’s a boggy one in wetter days! Great day out though and very memorable. Will check out your channel today! Thanks mate and cheers again. Paul

    Lovely vid Paul, as per usual top notch editing. Yeh I wouldn’t fancy doing these in wet weather with river crossings, peat hags and pathless terrain. Like you say there is a strong feeling of remoteness with these munros and I’m glad I’ve got them out the way.

      Cheers Frank! A great walk all made that bit simpler with the bikes eh! It felt really remote and I would not like to be caught out there if the weather changed! Those river crossings would be scary! Just a few more to visit from linn of dee and that’s them. I have grown really fond of this area! Paul

    Excellent Paul, 40k plus even with bike is very impressive (maybe an electro bike would be worth it for you, any idea how many Munros would benefit from a bike in some way?) - not surprised no-one was around! 150 is a good milestone well over half now...you are on the downward slope :-) you will need to do them all again in winter when complete 😁😁😁 Can I ask what app you use for the mapping or is it just done in your editor? Cheers 👌👌👌

      Yeah 151 now, still a ways to go but enjoying the journey Dave.
      I have been using Outdooractive for my route finding but then using keynote on my Mac to do the wee map animations. Quite simple and I think it helps show the route for anyone who is considering it? Does it? 🥴I would love to get them all done and have the energy to go round again in winter! That would be amazing! Excellent Paul - did you go for a folding number? I have been browsing but a lot of choice (styles, wheel sizes, volts and watts) and don't know whether I would use it enough. Yes the keynote defo helps give an idea of where you are at, going to have a go at it on my next trek - Cheers for the tip...Dave. 👌
