Mam can l switch same fund-> SBI Blue chip regular plan growth to SBI Blue chip regular plan Direct
Even I was looking for the same option, wanted to switch from small cap regular to direct but can't find it in the drop-down menu.

How to cancel switch order?
- I was investing in fund1 as sip since 2019 till 2023 Jan.
- need to switch all units of my fund1 to other mutual fund fund2.
- then which days NAV of fund2 will be applied to all switched units? Is it the switched day's NAV of fund2 ?
- suppose I have switched all 500 units/total investment today & todays NAV of fund2 is 50 then is it the NAV "50" applied to each units of 500?

Madam , i have been invested some money in mutual SBI hybrid fund in last year October and i taking some money back through systematic withdrawal this money (swp) in September , now it I wait to exist from mutual fund, will i should wait for next year to September 2023 for to avoid exit load charges ?

Capital gain tax will be applicable even in switching since it involves two step process of redemption and then purchase

Yes you can follow the same procedure of switching. As early you switch it would be better but make sure your fund is not in loss. When your fund is in profit switch from regular to direct because there are charges involved. So paying charges in profit makes more sense than paying charges when running in loss.
Also check the exit load so you dont end up paying more charges if you redeem before certain exit period.

U didn't said that after how many days the switched amount will be reflected? As I hv done switching two days ago but it's not reflecting anywhere.
Generally it takes 3 days to get reflected after you did the switch transaction. Also, notice that non-business days like saturday and sunday are not counted.

No..i would recommend not to switch right now from sbi small cap fund...its risky fund but have performed quite well in last 6 months. Also it going thorugh its peak point so switching is not suitable at this time.

There are options, Last broker, direct. Tell me is it your first time investing? If yes then choose Direct, if you have already invested in a Mutual fund by the bank then choose Last broker

transaction done on1 and 2 feb2020 in sbi mututal fund
It would be reflected after 3 days from the date of transaction
No need to worry...it has just not been updated...it would be reflected soon

Agr apka old plan sip h toh woh hr month continue rhega, jitna amount aap switch krege bss woh new plan mein jaega...agr lumpsum amount tha toh aap decide kr skte apko kitna amount switch krna h ...maan lijiye aapne 3/4th amount switch kr diya toh ab apke pas do plan ho jaege...ek new with 3/4th amount aur ek old plan with other1/4th amount.

Agr aap switch krte h regular fund se direct fund mein toh....switching date tk jo apke sip ki accumulated value hogi woh redeem ho jaegi aur same amount se direct fund ki units purchase ho jaegi.

Aap pura amount v switch krte h toh sip band nhi hogi....sip band krne ke lye apko cancel sip ka optn use krna hoga..maine video bnaa rkha h sip stop krne ke lye woh dekh skte....naye fund mein agr ap sip strt krna chahte toh uske lye v apko nayi sip shuru krni hogi invest option use krke...! Switching se sip pr koi effect nhi ata...bss ek fund se dusre fund mein jitna amount aap chahte woh chla jata.
@@DevTechFinance aur ek baat old scheme ek alag portfolio no.( broker dwara banaya tha) Se switch karke kya main dusra pahle se scheme open karke is nayawala scheme aur portfolio(direct plan khud ka portfolio) pe ja sakte hain..
Mujhe bhi regular plan m 1.5 Saal ho Gaye hai ..ab Soch rha hu direct m switch kardu....but pesa toh account se Apne aap deduct hota hai and agr switch Kar dunga toh pesa kese katega......aur switch krne k baad regular plan band ho Jayega Apne aapp ya Hume Kuch krna padega

Mam what is the use of switch option from one fund to another like why can't I sell and then reinvest the money
Is there any advantage using switch fund?
Its simply for convenience and market timing of price at which you want to purchase.
If you redeem you would get money credited in your account in T+2 to 3 days...then you will be buying units of another scheme with same money assuming you dont have extra money to invest in new scheme. Charges would be same but in case you switch on the same day purchase of new scheme units will be confirmed and alloted. So, in case you want to invest today because you feel the prices are really low and its a good scheme you should switch to aim for higher profit.
