This is lovely indeed! I really enjoy the video and I went diving to Lembeh back in 2013 but I didn't have good photos nor video huhuhu. I saw many fascinating creatures as well there.. Thank you for the video..

Remarkable fascinating video. The audio is basically an hour and 19 minutes of someone blowing bubbles!

Wonderful video, but what type was the eel with tail fin at 27:00? But mostly, I wanted to see that green fish finally fit into that home those two shrimp were working so hard building! At least add some discreet names in the corner so we know what we're looking at...
    Pretty Please?

Hi Drew! It's Diane again, with more questions. This is such an incredible video. I especially love the clownfish eggs. (and the cuttlefish eggs on another of your videos).
So, more questions. I am fascinated by how you use your lights. They are so powerful. I have two Keldan 4K lights and everyone thinks they are soooooooo bright. But you use two lights with 15,000 lumens. Do you use them at full power? And do you use the "cool" lighting option that these lights provide? Sometimes it looks like you switch and then there is a warmer light, especially in Bonaire. Are your lights ever too bright? I have found that I have to use extremely low power settings for dusk and night dives or I will blow everything out. Does that ever happen to you? And I am guessing that with such bright lights you don't need a red filter? And, what kind of tripod do you use? I can really tell that using one greatly reduces camera movement.
Sorry to bombard you but I am just awed by your videos and would love to improve mine! Underwater video has become a huge passion for me. I am mostly self taught, so being able to ask questions to someone whose work I really admire is fantastic. Especially now that we are so trapped at home - time to learn new things! Thanks so much for your help.

Do you ever use a blue filter or fluorescent filter when you shoot while much diving? So much of the color that you get is just incredible. And sometimes the muck itself looks blue and glittery. Or is all of the color natural and just so beautiful because of your 15,000 lumen light from Big Blue? You have convinced me that I need to go to Lembeh and I want to be able to shoot the best video I can. I currently have two Keldan lights, but use the smaller ones. I looked on their site and the bigger lights do put out 15,000 - 18,000 lumens. They also have red and blue filters to use with the lights. I will look into lights from Big Blue as well. Any advice you can give me is greatly appreciated!

Hi Diane, thanks for all your comments. I love diving and if I don't record it, I don't remember so I try to record everything. I shoot most MACRO with an Olympus TG-5. It's amazing for MACRO and OK for Wide Angle. I usually use a Sony RX100v for the wide Angle. I used to use i-torch 2800 Lumen video lights. but now I have a couple of BigBlue 15,000 Lumen lights that are incredible. I don't use filters any more. But I do have a standard red filter for the Sony if my lights don't cover the area. I've tried a blue filter on some fire worms, but although it looked cool, it wasn't realistic. Now I just do the color enhancement in post. I mostly use Pinnacle Studio for post work. It's gotten pretty good. The key to my video is just patience. I love getting the whole story so I stay on a fish as long as possible. I still cut 90% of what I shoot, but I keep much more than most people want to see. But I love it. I"m sure sorry I can't dive any time soon. But hopefully in a year or 2 we can all get back in the water.

@@DrewAKaplan I agree about patience - still not strong enough on that. I too like to stay with a subject. I am just amazed that those are just enhanced colors. And the macro is amazing. We actually have an Olympus TG-5 but haven't tried it underwater. And I mostly shoot with a Cannon S110 which is similar to the Sony RX100v (I tried them both out at the same time). So I will definitely look into your lights and get a housing for the Olympus. So many things to do and so frustrating not to be able to travel to dive now and for the foreseeable future. So, I will keep watching your videos (and mine) and pretend! Thank you so much for responding.
