I believe that it being called as a mixed tumour is a misnomer because the various chondroid , myxoid , mucoid and osseous changes are caused due to change in the morphology of myoepithelial cells and not because of the involvement of the connective tissue
Oma means any tumorous or abnormal growth, not necessarily a benign tumour
