After insert caption for the table. next dialog box not active for inserting table details. what shall i do now?

In the figure caption option you may find one button "Numbering". In that you can select option include heading

You may change the label of Figure/Table/Equation. While inserting caption of any table or figure there will be an option of new label and numbering. Try it. Best luck

Set the format of your heading as you need it. Then right-click on Heading 1 and update as per selection

It depends. Being a commercial product, Office is continuously adding newer features every year. So I like it more.

Add equation using equation option. Then right click and select caption. In caption window choose equation instead of figure and table.
