“Welcome to winter driving. The weather outside is frightful and the fire from our impending crash will burn us to ashes!” My favorite line ever.
One time while I was learning how to drive, this dude (in a pickup truck, of course) shouted at me as he was passing, "LEARN HOW TO DRIVE!" I shouted back (but I bet he didn't here me) "THAT'S WHAT I'M DOING!"

Scarriest driving experience was during Drivers Ed. I was the one at the wheel. Had stopped at an intersection and was waiting to cross the road when we witnessed a wreck right in front of us when a car tried to turn too soon in front of a truck going too fast down the road. The truck swerved, hit a parked car in front of a little store and a wheelchair flew out of the back of the pickup across the road. We all had to fill out accident reports since we'd seen it. While I was talking to one of the officers on the scene, the school bus stopped at its stop not far away and all the kids from school thought the accident was caused by one of us student drivers. I was relieved when someone else was up next to drive when we got back in the car.

My uncle was driving up a one lane mountain road, and his glasses broke, he cant see with out them. My grandmother can't drive, I was too young, one of my cousins was too young, and my other cousin, who was learning how to dive, was having a panic attack and couldn't breath. I'm very luck to be here today.....

I-15 exit to Highway 89 Utah Northbound from Farmington to South Ogden. Sunny morning after a snowy night I was in the fast lane going a good 50-55MPH due to the freeway still covered with snow except from tire marks. I was changing lanes my tires not all that great. hit the small patch of packed snow caused me to spin 360° between 2 cars. I was about to hit the exit guardrail when I reached down and pulled my e-break I stopped a good 15 ft from it with the driver side facing it. the cars I passed between kept going and no one or vehicle got hurt. I was laughing hysterically or a good 5 min before getting back on the road to my destination.
Ecklestone:"There is no turning back...much like sky diving or listening to Taylor Swift."
Me: " Or getting involved in politics..." 🤷😂

This is nothing compared to winter driving in Colorado. Literally, your life flashes before your eyes every two seconds if you're in a blizzard and have a very fast driver. There are cliffs around every corner, and the tiny little fences they put up will not save.Go Mr. Eckelstone!!
When I was learning to drive, on my last day of the driving portion of drivers ed we were being tested. I'd just done about five u turns, and my instructor told me to now do a left turn. I thought he said one more u turn. So I do a u turn. And he starts freaking out. He is screaming at me and lunges at the steering wheel and I start crying. For the rest of the driving I was shaking in fear of screwing up again. He started marking me for things I wasn't doing. The kid who went after me (we drive in partners) made sure to over exaggerate everything I messed up. And I almost failed the whole thing. I passed with a low D. And ever since I've been terrified to drive. I'd go as far as to say I have a driving phobia now.
And that is my worst driving experience.

Scariest driving? Um, first drivers ed car I didn't make my right turn hard enough and almost hit an old lady in a camry. Yep...
Worse was when a sophmore from our rival school hit me drivers side, totaled my car (the last month of senior year! Cheryl, may you rest in pieces. O scrap metal... 😖)

I drifted around the corner while it was snowing and I went up on the curb, around a tree (on someone's lawn) and spun around and was left literally 1inch from the light pole.

I got a story fo you. It isn't a scary story but a funny one which you may use as a sktech of yours as well.
I'll make the story short to the actual joke:
Since I'm allowed to drive I only had one flat tire so far. But I as lucky to have had an american friend with me on that trip who had lots of them in his life.
So he said to me that he'll show me how to do it and that we'll do it together. We took off the flat tire, put the other one on, cleaned everything up and then stood happyly in front of the result for a minute when he asked:
"So, did this change your life?" Me: "EnTIREly!!"

My driver's ed teacher was also a paramedic, and kept having us drive past places he'd responded to accidents & telling us all the gory details. "Yeah, here in the canyon somebody came up here & got blind drunk & wrapped his car around that tree over there, see the scarred bark? His legs were left in the seat & his torso was thrown out of the car." I still remember his final critic of my driving after I passed - "You're a bit too cautious, but that will pass as you get more experienced."
I almost had the deer/boulder experience once, except with cows. Good thing Mr. Eckelstone wasn't in the passenger seat or I would've actually hit them. XD
The car has only been moving in one direction for 5 seconds before "You have killed us!" Eckelstone is my fav! XD

Scariest driving experience for me was ironically when I wasn't driving. I was riding in my friend's pickup, and the road we were on was icy, and he knows I'm a Florida boy, so he gets this evil look in his eyes and throws the truck into a spin in the middle of the road, then drives on like it was no big deal. It was at this point that I learned just how crazy he was.
That's actually the most fun thing to do on the ice and no one is around.

Jacob Traum lol, no it honestly isn't to see if anyone would notice, it's actually because of a few factors. For one, I learned to type on 90's computers which had the words unreadably close together with one space, and most websites auto-adjust so it never came up until UA-cam stopped auto-adjusting for some reason. On top of that, more than a few classes I'm taking now require my typing this way, so I just leave it that way. It's muscle memory now, I just figure it'd be easier to explain it now and then than try to reteach myself for the one website that doesn't auto-adjust.

We're driving through a mountain. And as a bunch of Boulders fell down on top of our car you realize the fear of winter driving. Thankfully our car was not thoroughly damaged and the boulders were very small. For Boulders anyway after we got out of the bone layers. Deer!
