I recently had severe burn-in from a static window after forgetting to re-engage the screensaver. (Dell 8k 31"). It looked terrible. I switched the monitor off for 11 hours, then ran this fixer for 18 hours. Completely restored to original state. I can vouch that this fixer does work. Some additional advice: Only run your monitor at as high a brightness and contrast as you need and no higher. it means a cooler temperature and less likely to burn-in. Move windows about periodically, use solid colour backgrounds, auto-hide menu bars and use an active screen saver which turns the monitor off when not in use for more than ten minutes.
Have been starting to get bad burn-in on my 2016 40" 4k LCD Samsung. Tried a color video before this one and made it a little better. Turned on this video when leaving for work. Got back and not only was burn-in all gone, but screen was brighter. It really re-exicted the liquid crystals. Turned the backlight down 2 levels. Going to redo displaycal profile tomorrow. Thanks for the vid! My wallet thanks you too.

Worked for me. Severe burn-in after changing to windows 11 and using one of the default os backgrounds in static mode. After around 40h of playing this video I was able to get rif of every last bit. Thank you very much!
This really worked on my Note 20 Ultra just when I thought it was a lost cause. Had really bad burn in, after playing this video overnight in full brightness, was pleasantly surprised to find it had completely removed the terrible burn in. Thank you very much!
my TN panel has a weird burn-in issue around high-contrast edges, took until I tried this specific video, *specifically* at 0.25x speed and that's what finally seems to actually work
Hi. Will this help with sparkling/firing pixels? I have a Pioneer Kuro LX6090 which has some white sparkling pixels biased to the upper and lower parts of the screen in certain dark scenes...

@@Dawood4 it just goes away, since mostly its literally the screen being hot (and if static element left behind,it will have a temporarily burn in)
