I been running my PC on an 11 year old Panasonic plasma for years without a problem. Now I have some icon ghosting at the bottom where the taskbar sits. So I hid the taskbar. I've tried a number of the colored & static videos. This video worked pretty fast for some image persistence at the top of my monitor. After running this for an hour that disappeared completely, but the icon ghosts on the bottom are still there. They're very faint from far away, but upon close inspection those pixels look burned in. I'm gonna try running this video over night & see if it improves at all. Thanx for the upload. This helped more than the other fix videos.
Honestly i was sceptic about this, but it realy helped me. After like 2 hours it was all gone.. i had the Windows 10 Searchbar and Cortana logo burned in. Now its gone , Thank you.
My LG B6 Oled has a severe case of Gaming UI burn-in, because at the time I bought it, I had no idea burn-in was an issue. First, those claiming these type of videos worked, is because they had image retention. That usually goes out with Clear Panel option, turning the TV off for a bit, or testing it with these types of videos. Burn-in on the other hand is permanent, I've been putting videos similar to this one on the TV for 30 minutes to 1 hour every day for the last week and it has done nothing as expected.
to removed permanent burn in I used this video on UA-cam as well. is long but yu have to use it or leave it when you go out or sleeping it works on oled plasma and phones. I remove the apple logo from my TV that was permanently burn I for more than 2 years after I used this video for many times I mean many times now my TV is clear an new
@@Gbee-cp2rg I think that makes sense to me as the because, burn in is actually burn out! of the output of the oleds just at the point of the burn in image that is retained, in other words a screen will loose its brightness after time especially if over driving it too bright at least that would be my guess.
SharX I can tell its soften the serious burnins on a pioneer kuro plasma but only if you increase the contrast and leave it on at least 5h. I reckon if every month you do this once or twice after a year the burnins are gone or they will be barely or less noticeable.
Wouldn't this just burn in the rest of the screen ao it's equal it doesn't actually fix burn in it iust makes the screen a shade lighter by burning qll the pixels
It work for me .. if you have only 1 white faint line just let this all night in fullscreen ..in the morning the white faint line will not be there..now if you have more white faint lines you must do that daily at night.. this work only in white faint lines

I was told today my tv has been on display for a year so makes me dout if this will work or should i take the tv back? Any advice..thanks
Doesn't work on my Samsung Lcd Tv I leave it on about 4 hour's and the burn images still there it's really annoying when I watching movie or play video game I can see it
Daniel Flores owned my oled (EF9500) for over a year now, never had an issue. Just bought a second one (B6P) for dirt cheap because it was an old shelf display with image burn in from looping the LG demo repeatedly - hoping this fixes it - if not still an awesome tv for my studio, and the image burn won't bug me too much with how I use it. Ironically though, I did manage to get permanent image burn on an LED Samsung I bought about 4 years back. After only 4 months of owning the tv, too.
Brian melton it dampened it a bit, but it's definitely still there. I only ran it for about 20 minutes though, I don't want to wash out the color in the set by overexposing it. The TV was on display for a year at my local Best Buy so I'm assuming the burn in will either be permanent or take a few months of regular use to fully dissipate.
Have a sec to chat? I'm in the same boat and am considering returning the tv tonight, this is my last effort. I did the same thing you did, off the wall unit, has OLED burned into the center with a few other burn spots, its noticeable but not egregious. My dilemma is do i deal with burn in on the BEST TV i could possibly get for $950, or do I exchange it for something not OLED. What would you do?
Brian melton I got mine for a lot less because I know that they're actually supposed to junk out TVs like that, which means they'll lose roughly $1800 on the set, so I convinced them to sell it to me for a lower loss instead of junking it out. But I don't think I would have bought it if it were going to be my primary TV. Id go for a Sony 900 if I could find a good open box deal or a Vizio M-Series, even a Samsung 8000.
be way more careful with oleds then lcds when it comes to the burn in image trick I highly recommend less time per treatment on oleds and keeping an eye on the tv set(check image quality every hour at most 3 hours) just in case something goes wrong and color discoloration occurs as its way more noticeable on oleds then lcds in my experience.
use this video it did removed permanent burn in on my vt60 plasma it took a few months of random use of this video but it worked. also removed burned in from my friends Oled as well. it's long video but that is all I use a few times a month after some image retantion.
@@alexgonzalez283 I've tried so many things. Looks like I'm just stuck with a defective 65" OLED now. Bad thing is I don't have extended warranty nor am I finished making the payments on this thing.
@@JaronWheeler If you got it from Best Buy the Total Protection coverage wouldn't matter. Plan for never having to use this - but if you do need it, the concept works.
Oh, wow. Up 'til the end of Twin Peaks, I never realised how much I needed this song.

nope only the blue pixel burn in because it has a shorter life span. that is the reason you see the retention on some colors more than others
