Tom Hulce has that certain something. His eyes and his voice blow me away every single time! (I think it`s useless to say how much I love how he played Mozart in Amadeus)

I was on my way to a rehearsal with a totally awful rock band. I was in the middle of London, entering a tube station ad out of the blue felt the urge to go in the kiosk shop. There was Tom Hulce! He signed an autograph, which I still have, and having just met Mozart I left the band, which made my life way better. Thanks Tom! :o)
Tom Hulce retweeted me the other day and I was so excited about it (sad, I know) that I had a panic attack and fainted in the middle of a supermarket.

First off, Tom dyed his hair blonde for Amadeus because Mozart's hair was that color. Secondly, that was 1984. He's entitled to age and change. 3rd his appearance is his business. It doesn't diminish him as a great actor. The end.

I was just born those year's he made the made for movie adaptation of Mozart and I fell in love. Wanting to watch it over and over again. But really ge brings the real Mozart to life. And Mozart has always been my favorite composer so i adored him and his great humor and looks. 🎉❤ wonderfully studied and act. My cousin is an actor ,her name is Angelica Ortiz and plays elena in Lincoln lawyer and ive been watching both back to back on Netflix.. but sadly i think the depiction is going off soon. God bless Tom

I agree, I really like Tom's voice. He does seem tired, hardly surprising when he worked so hard on a broadway production. But he's still seems like the same good person he always seemed.

Everyone speaks about the brilliance of his Mozart, for me my favorite character of his was the fuck up son Larry in Parenthood.

@MisaB71 Yeah he did. I fell in love with his voice in both Hunchback movies. The first he's full of vulnerability and the second he's not invulnerable, but he becomes reassuring and supportive to someone else. I never saw any of his movies. I didn't even know what he looked like. I just saw a bit of Dominick and Eugene. He doesn't sound like Quasimodo at all. Not on here either. That surprised me. Maybe I did see him somewhere but didn't know the voice.

I think you ought to remember that he was an ACTOR, and as such of course he creates particular mannerisms and uses his voice differently for characters. Seriously. There is also a difference between one's work and one's life, or he would go insane.

@hannahesteves I just saw a bit of Dominick and Eugene at the breakfast table and in prayer. He doesn't sound the same in this interview. he doesn't sound like Quasimodo at all either. Does he change his voice a lot for different characters? Is that just one of his talents? Since the first Hunchback movie I thought he was super at giving the character such deep emotion. I never heard his name attached to anything else.

@courttube3 People shouldn't worry about his heart just because he's heavy. Many heavy people can have excellent heart check ups while some skinny people have problems. It's not a rule that weight means heart problems or high blood pressure any more than it's a rule that black people will get sickle cell anemia. They just put risk factors on some things trying to predict. But doctors predict very little.

@MisaB71 I tried looking at a preview of Amadeus, since that period has no real interest to me and a Mozart movie sounds like a 2hr documentary, dull. Lousy preview gave no plot- still sounds dull, but many say it's great. So what's great about it? All I heard was murder and mystery. That doesn't give any plot. But Tom is a great actor I know from his animated role. There's a very sincere and heart felt quality to his voice alone. How many actors can sell it without facial expressions? Lots act.
