    I actually enjoy seeing when there are mistakes because that is what we need to learn from. Thanks

    When you make a ‘so called’ mistake on your videos, you’re still teaching us things we can use. The mistakes are just as valuable as the other stuff.❤️ I stumbled across this looking for something else. After I watched this instead, I subscribed!😁

    I love your coasters, I am also impressed how you are not afraid to let us know if you made a mistake. Because I am so new to resin and I get disappointed when I see all these perfect pours and mine never come close th the lessons I have viewed. Thanks for giving me hope.

      Thank you for watching and your encouragement. I share my mistakes because I want people to know that they can do this! It just takes a lot of mistakes until you get the technique down. It's hard to see all the edited videos and not think that you're doing something wrong. Keep practicing!

    OMG!!!! You had me busting up!!!🤣😂😅🤣😂😅 Love the way you narrate your video. Love the video The last one you let the resin sit for longer and it thickend a little more. Love it!

    Pour down the sides of your cups for less bubbles. It works for me. Beautiful coasters.

    the coasters are beautiful honey .. if you want to try it again , wait for 20 minutes after you pour the resin into the molds .. and try paste colors instead of mica .. good luck 🌹

    • @LizsArtisanShop

    • @LizsArtisanShop

      I like the pink geode molds from Counter Culture DIY. They are made a bit thicker and hold up to multiple uses. I also like the size. Thanks for watching!

    I'm just starting to work with resin and was wondering if a hair dryer on low would work?

    • @LizsArtisanShop
      @LizsArtisanShop  3 роки тому +1

      Hi Misty. Great question. A hair dryer doesn't get hot enough to pop the bubbles. You can find inexpensive heat guns on amazon. You don't need any fancy. Also, don't use a blow torch or open flame on your molds since it can ruin your molds. I learned that one the hard way.
      Welcome to the resin art world!

    Do you dome or add a top coat afterwards?

    • @LizsArtisanShop
      @LizsArtisanShop  3 роки тому +1

      Sometimes I do. Since these were for personal use and not to sell in my shop I didn’t top coat. Great question. If I do I will use latex to coat the bottom of the coaster before pouring, then peel off when it’s cured enough to touch.
      Thank you.
