My go-to at Cookout is also the "big double with cheese - but I order it cookout style" it comes with two slices of cheese, chili, mustard, onions and slaw. It is so fantastic I had one yesterday. LOVE LOVE LOVE Cookout. Hush puppies are a great side. Interesting fact it was started in Thomasville, NC.

The title threw me. I thought you may have attended a barbecue and gave your review under shelter from the rain, which makes for a nice atmosphere by the way. This is the first I've heard of this establishment. The char on the burger, is it like Burger King? Between that and the greasy bun sounds appealing to me. The Cajun wrap sounds good, but I'd have to nix the spicey condiment. That's a generous sized cold drink that comes with the meal. No way, on the price! I was expecting you to say $8-12. That's quite a deal!

Yeah, the price of Cookout really adds to the experience, it's just refreshing for me (as unhealthy the food is). Love their hush puppies too.

Every time I go to cookout it’s when I’m driving 11 hours to visit family, it’s along the way so it’s the perfect place to go because I usually don’t finish it all and then I have a snack for the rest of the time of driving.

It's kind of weird to me when ReviewBrah ends a video and I don't hear a chair sliding out.
The hush puppies don't have any filling; it's literally just cornbread left over from the Corndogs. Also, you should 100% have gotten a shake.

What I like to do is upgrade my drink to a cheesecake milkshake, double burger with grilled onions, a steak quesadilla and onion rings for the sides. Sometimes I do a Corndog instead of fries if I'm that hungry.

Go back and try their quesadillas! By far best thing on the menu! (Plus if you get quesadilla as the entree instead of the side you get 2 as opposed to one)

Cook Out is a pretty common chain here in NC. The food while not incredible is really not that expensive and is great to fill you up. Eat it a good bit when trying to save money.

WyvernX It’s pretty much required to get a chicken quesadilla as one of your sides. They’re delicious. I usually get Cajun fries or hush puppies for my second side.

I love Cook Out. The burgers aren't pre-pattied frozen disks like most fast food places; they're fresh beef cooked to order and you can get pretty much anything you want on them. The tray's sides are like a second entree (chicken sandwich, wraps, corn dog, etc.). BTW, if you get sweet tea with the tray it comes in a larger size than the sodas (they call it "huge" size). They are known just as much, if not more, for their 40+ milkshake flavors.

One of the only fast food places I go to, this and take out pizza is basically all I'll get outside of a proper sit down at a restaurant. Love the chicken nuggets the most. Sometimes I'll hit up Taco Bell, but I work night shift (like graveyard) and Taco Bell here always tends to run out of beef (AKA the entire worth of the chain for me, I only get one item there and it features beef) around 2AM which is an hour before I even get a break.
I've heard of Cook Out restaurant. It's where Trinity Gay was killed (2016) in Lexington Kentucky. But I'm not sure if it is part of the CookOut chain.. it might just be a mom n pop place local here in central Kentucky.

i worked at cook out for 3 years, we actually use cajun seasoning in our wraps. maybe you didn’t get a lot of cajun

Hey, im an employee of cookout but not the specific one you have gone to. I work at a cookout in virginia. For the cajun wraps typically that reason they would call it that is because it comes with cajun seasoning and hot sauce. Im not sure if they did that for you but normally thats the meaning behind the decision of the name. Also for the hushpuppies, its just like a deepfried, sweetened cornbread. Also I can kind of agree with you on the burger, It isnt too big and I tell customers that alot. If I was to say, the quarter pounder would be bigger. The patty isnt quiet high quality but isnt too bad either, id say if it was on a scale from 1-10 i would give it at least a 7. Also, one thing I would recommend getting is a bacon wrap, which is 3 strips of bacon, ranch, cheese, and lettuce. Our chicken quesadillas are pretty good too; we do also have just cheese and beef quesadillas too. And with the drinks, you can get a larger cup than what you got if you wanted to pay a couple cents more and its double the size, or if you want a sweet tea/ unsweet you can get that in the bigger size for the same price as the drink you got.
Cook out is awesome for its price. The tray is a steal. So sad we don't have these in reviewbrah land ):
