    you need to move your steering to the front of the boat then you could see the logs

    Thanks for the comments. Unfortunately, the Finn eas destroyed last week by a tree that fell on her. One day I will build The Finn 2

    I have one and it's great. You can actually bake a whole chicken in it while simultaneously preparing two sides.

    Hi. I commend you on an interesting voyage. It's very informative. I was wondering though, if you had an idea of the weight of the pontoons. And maybe gross weight. :}

      I'm sorry but I don't know the overall weight of things. I do know that the enclosure I built weighed around 900 pounds

    Dude u got me laughing. Steering by shifting weight and what's that. Looks like a coconut lmbo. Really enjoying these videos. An inspiration. Get and and find a way to have adventures. U dont need a $250,000 boat. I'm in the process of buying a inflatable dingy and taking trips down rivers to the gulf. Add a bimini tent.

      Its an awesome time going on the river. You will enjoy it!! I will make it to the Mississippi on my next boat. I learned a lot from the first trip.

      Nick Stone 30 horse evinrude. I thought all I would need it for was to steer. I would like to have a 50 or 75 horse 4 stroke next time.

    White Guilt? I don't get it. I'm southern. I couldn't tell if it was somebody being a troll and offensive or a what. But, that's not why I'm really motivated to add my two cents. Next time spend the money and get Navionics to see the depth. Those shipping channels are actually the rivers deepest course. If you are seeing or running into weeds then it's shallow. You can set the app to a minimum depth as if you were fishing and avoid the shallows even if your tying up and gonna spend the night. Also if your walking around the boat to steer and then hit the something catastrophic you could get thrown off or into something and get knocked out? Wearing your life jackets good so that helps. I want to do what your doing. It looks like an adventure and we just don't have adventures anymore really. Get a splatter shied for you fry pan and that will help to keep the splatter. Or place it in a semi permanent position. Oh, I rub my head all the time. My wife jokes that I'm checking to see if I lost it.....Man I want to be you right now in the video....motor on brother.

    It is said that people will tolerate poor video quality if the sound is at least OK. When you start the video with both poor video and audio it means that you just don't care to do any better. Dude, read a book or something.

      cmon have a little mercy on the guy. For what it was i thought it was an interesting video. not everybody has sky high budget and endless tech savvy.
