    you could have just moved your controls forward, and got longer cables for the throttle, and steering. i did that on a pontoon i had. i moved the control station to the front of it, to use on the elkhart river. didn't want to run over a submerged log, and destroy my outboard's lower unit.

      I'm building a completely new 12 x 32 houseboat from 2, 24 foot boats I have. It will be an offset quad-toon. 12x32 deck with a 12 x 24 cabin and a 12 x 32 upper deck. It will be finished like a factory built boat this time instead of the "bare bones" experimental first boat I took on the river. I will start posting videos in the next week or two.
