Pro Tip: Use Frost Walker Enchantment on magma blocks to negate damage. For those of us who don't wanna hold crouch the whole time.

@@jaycrafter3051 if you play on bedrock edition, mob farms, specifically gunpowder farms, are super inefficient. Not to mention when we get a large bug fix update that produces more bugs there is a 90% chance of that farm breaking.

There’s this guy here on youtube, JC Playz, and he has a tutorial for a ridiculously efficient gold and xp farm design for bedrock edition and it isn’t very expensive to make it and you don’t even have to set foot into the nether to build it. I went from level 51 to 60 in less than 5 minutes.

Recommendation: When you make a "base" area up there, make an auto sorting system and make it so the ingots, nuggets and flesh esch have a spot or so to be sorted, then a furnace system for the swords.
The only thing better than a Minecraft Guide episode is a 45 minute Minecraft Guide episode!

Easy way to get good suply of golden carrots:
1) make a pumpkin farm
2)infect a villger by a zombie then cure it
3)sell pumpkins 1 pumpkin=1 emerald
4)after the villager is an expert he will sell 3 goldne carrots for 1 emerald

@wattles I use your farm design, and it works perfectly! Little improvements : replace the block the pigmen stand on by a soulsand, so you can put directly an hopper just under it (a soulsand is a bit less than a block tall), and you cnq event consider adding a wither rose on it (especially to kill baby pigmen, I sometimes come across a situation in which I had babies stuck in the corners of the killing block, not dying from cramming but hitting the mon cap in the farm)
This comment needs more attention! I was using soul sand already, but the wither rose 100% fixes the "stuck" baby pigmen and keeps the farm rolling a LOT better than without! I'm on 1.18.2 btw, still works perfectly.

I've been setting this project off for months now, but the whole thing, from collecting the magma to building the entire farm itself only took a single day. This tutorial was quite useful.

Hey Wattles, great video! Still, I think there is a lot that can easily be improved:
-If you nametag a couple of piglins a couple of blocks out of the farm, they will keep aggro at you even when all the other piglins are dead. This will happen when you have a smite V enchantment with sweeping edge.
-You can replace the columns on the entrance to the killing area with smaller-than-a-block-width blocks (like grindstones) so that when two piglins try to get in at the same time they won't get stuck.
-There is no way one hopper will do the trick, nor you should keep the swords or rotten flesh. I would set a blue ice system with a pushing hopper and impulse filters for nuggets and ingots! Not to hard and will do the trick, as long as you put the minecart hopper in the center of 4 hoppers.
Hello Dante, do you have a tutorial reference for the blue ice system with a pushing hopper? I'm seeing the bottleneck on this one hopper getting clogged with the drops.
@@Koreyite Look for the gold farm from Ilmango or Raysworks. They design most of the farms we use, or other content creators use. Wattles is NOT a technical player so a lot of stuff he builds are fine but not great.
You can also check the farm iskall created for the hermicraft season 7, wich pushes items through ice with pistons - quite some fun. Also mumbo jumbo created another farm using waterfalling items and droppers with cobweb.

I have a technique for looking out at the side of a scaffold tower that makes it safe and easy: face the edge you want to hang out over the side of. Turn just a hair to the left and strafe to the right. When you move it may be 1/2 block in distance, but you'll only move a smidgen toward the actual edge. If it doesn't make sense just try it, it works great! You can go back and forth to edge out very slowly

I built this gold farm a few months ago after watching your tutorial and it works great ( no surprise). I put in an item sorter down below that separates the gold and the rotten flesh from the weapons which are dispensed into lava along with anything else that overflows. This farm works so well for experience that I'm not concerned about what I would get from unenchanting the weapons. My next big build is a villager trading hall where I can trade the rotten flesh away. Great video and thanks.

So first thank you for all of your guidance in Minecraft I love watching your videos recently started watching you and your guide help it has helped so much , I have been playing Minecraft for 7 or 8 years my grandchildren and nephew showed it to me so I do have 2 worlds of my own that we built a lot of stuff but recently I bought a realm so we could all play no matter where they were still figuring that out, anyways I am 58 and mayb kinda older but I love building and making thing so with that in mind I’ve only really played on creative so not sure how to make and not keep getting dead I wish I could let you get on my 2 worlds so you could see them I did build most all the buildings but also my grandchildren, Nephew also built things . Now my realm is survival and I really want to do bigger and better builds but somethings are hard like how to put a roof on without falling how to fix crazy creeper, they are always blowing up me or my stuff . Also how do you stop mobs from killing you I get up in experience and then dead a loose it. How do you keep water all the time like when your mining? I have so many questions like I always get lost when I try to go off how do you see the numbers to tell you where you are and how far down you are? Like the Y12 level sorry so many questions but I just love mine craft and I really want to play without cheats because it tells me I can’t get any points or experience with cheats on sometimes I feel like just deleting my realm because it really is not what I wanted I feel like I’ve just made everything wrong on it but I’ve decided to keep my realm and and ask some questions and see if I can do it so if you don’t mind helping me. Oh and I play mostly on my iPhone but I do have a world on my Xbox 360 but I have a really harder time on my controllers. Thx very much for your videos they have helped me so much.💕
tip for the gold farm: stand with the sword in hand looking at the zombified piglins. you will automatically get looting III on all the drops.

*Thanks for the epic video!!!* I've been waiting to build my first gold farm and the way you explained the technical aspect of the build was really well done (I didn't know you could build farms at the build limit - Amazing yet dangerous!!). I will be using your build blueprints on my world, but I need to decide whether I will build the Piglin trading hall on the Nether roof or in the Nether.
Suggestion #1: I wouldn't bother gather the enchant levels from the swords since you get so much from the mobs. I would make a small blast furnace array connected to the collection area and get more gold nuggets.
Suggestion #2: Try and get a Cleric Villager into the Farm so you can trade Zombie Flesh for Emeralds and eventually get EXP Orbs.

Dude, I just built this this past weekend, just like yours, and holy crap the experience it gives you is insane! Just by standing there! That's even kinda better than the gold. It almost feels like cheating! First time I've been at level 100. Not much use for my spider farm now!

Actually, Bedrock Edition gold farms with rates of this farm are even easier to make because of portal ticking mechanics which spawns zombie piglins each time the portal is lit and unlit.

For the struggles of Java players who want gold farms. Gold farm in Java are definitely late game builds. Bedrock gold farms are much better.

@@penguinboy647 Bedrock Edition gold farms are overworld only and just require lighting and unlighting a nether portal using lava and crafting tables.

Amazing episode! I love your videos and the time lapses. After committing respawn too many times from scaffolding, I now always break the top scaffolding, place a block and build off the block - extra steps, yes, but better than dying, imo

Still works in 1.19, but the ceiling has been lowered by one block. Took me forever to realize what I'd done wrong, when in actuality, I hadn't. His build limit is 256, yours will be 255. So subtract one from every level he mentions.

@@ethaneldred2379 glass, bottom half slabs, mycelium, buttons, pressure plates, soul sand, honey block, slime block, bedrock, redstone dust. There's some more also i think. If u were asking for the definition non spawnable blocks means a block where any mobs cannot spawn.
