as far as the invisible item frame idea goes, I think the simplest way to balance those two extremes is to just have 8 regular item frames surrounding a potion of invisibility on the crafting table to give you 8 invisible item frames, like when dying concrete powder.
Definitely need a renewable sand option other than duping. Whether it be some sort of crusher from another block like cobblestone or a mob dropping it, it's desperately needed. It's one of the few base blocks that can't be crafted or farmed apart from decimating a desert. Piglins give renewable gravel, it's time for a solution for sand.
About that Silk Touch enchantment...Use shears for leaves and grass. you can even enchant the shears with either Silk Touch, Unbreaking and Mending...or maybe all three of them?

They could bring back zombie horses and make it work like villagers - purify it and it’ll gain special perks. They could gain a speed/health/jump boost or even a strength boost that allows you to put a chest on a horse. Not all of that has to be done but I think it’d be a neat idea; your horse never truly dies now, it just zombifies and is temporarily unridable until purified.

I’m definitely not the only one to have thought of this, but I think it would be nice if you could turn a copper ingot into copper wire. It’s use would be the following: laying down copper wire would extend a redstone signal for as long as the copper wire is uninterrupted. Basically, treat it like redstone dust, but allow it to hold its signal strength for an indefinite distance. For example, you could put down a torch and 3 redstone dust to get a redstone signal strength of 12, then lay down copper wire to extend that signal strength of 12 for as long as the copper is. This way, you can extend redstone signals without needing to incorporate tick delay.
