Thank you so much for this! I’ve been researching this school for so long and I’m finally set on applying. This video was so helpful!! I wish you all the best 🩷🩷🩷 I’m planning to finish a few more prerequisites before applying to WCU! Appreciate you for this video
Glad it was helpful! If you anything or any questions reach out to me
Girl, I have been liking for a video like this. I loved it thank you so very much for sharing. I am working full time and I am trying to figure out if I’m going to pull this off. Mommy of 6 💝
All things are possible with Christ who strengthens me.
Yes !! All things are possible. I believe you can and will pull it off !
When you mentioned the quizlets for the HESI 😂 I was like oh yeah let me subscribe
Thank you for this video great content!!!
Hey! I go to West Coast Texas too! I graduate the October after you! I’m about to take Anatomy. How was your experience with it?
Hi , Anatomy was really fun !! I took Prof Jupiter is a really great and honest and Patient teacher . Usually you’ll have the same prof for physiology too ! It’s a lot of assignments and reading and fast pace but it’s doable !! I used a lot of apps and UA-cam videos to help me grasp the understanding of each chapter ! If you have anymore questions or concerns just contact me
@@joimirekle999 Thank you so much!! Another question. Do we have to wear the lab coats over our regular clothes😂 I think it’s so weird they want us to wear the lab coat but we don’t even have our uniforms yet
@@crazybabyshaquey yeah so you only wear you lab coats on Thursdays and it’ll be over your regular clothes . Ik it is a little weird but they want you to wear it so if something spills
On you it’ll be on the lab coat when you start dissecting parts
@@joimirekle999 Gotcha! I knew it was to protect our clothes but I didn’t know like when we were supposed to wear it. Thank you so much for answering my questions. You’ve been a big help! If I need anything else I’ll be sure to ask 🩷🩷
Thank you. You have to take the HESI to get in and Teas as well?
HESI to get in , if you pass with unconditional terms you’ll have to take the TEAS and pass in order to start Nursing Core
How long did it take for you to get an acceptance letter after finishing financial aid process?
About 2 weeks
How long is nursing core? Because I’ll be finishing my prerequisites on spring 2025 then start transferring. I checked how long the terms and I calculated that I’ll be graduating November of 2026? It doesn’t seem to add up.
You have 11 terms in core that last 10 weeks each. It’ll be about two years in core. But that also depends on if your a WCU . That’s just according to my proposed schedule they provided for me.
Are you doing the 39 , 44 , or 56 month route? Also is it a monday-friday schedule?
Yes, it is Monday through Friday for GE classes. I believe when you start nursing core There will be some Saturdays depending on if you are a night and weekend student. And I think the Saturday is if you have a clinical.
Hi how are you? I’m currently at CC right now and will be finishing my last year there (fall-spring) so when would I have to apply by and what gpa would I need to transfer to WCU
@@kamalsharma1804 so if you check the West Coast website, it’ll tell you when you can start applying. They do applications every 10 weeks because that’s when a new term starts and then as far as your GPA you will need to have a 2.0.
@@kamalsharma1804 and sorry hi I’m doing well thanks for asking !!
Hi thanks for the gpa requirements but when I go to the website it’s not clear on when I should apply and when the deadline is to submit my application for fall 2025 also I wanted to ask that if I transfer can I apply for the BSN program without RN associate program done? Will it be hard? And in general is it hard to get accepted to their school and what exams would you have to take for entrance? Sorry for the questions
@@joimirekle999do you need a 2.0 gpa overall or in classes that you want to transfer? Is it possible for me to dm you?
can you link where you found the point system? I’m looking to attend WCU in another state but I can’t find the point system anywhere. I’m wondering if it might be different for my state.
Hi , the point system was provided to us by the university during a zoom meeting about the admission and application process ( it was on one of the PowerPoint slides ) I can see if I still have a picture of it
hiii! how was your experience taking the GE’s at west coast? anatomy, physiology, etc.
It was actually a great experience!!! At WCU you take Anatomy and Physiology separately but most likely with the same teacher. It’s very fast past literally two quizzes every week but it’s manageable and the teachers are very helpful as far as the “ non science “ classes those are most likely online and SUPER EASY !!
Hi guys what’s the tuition like ?
Tuition is very expensive, I would recommend doing GE courses at a community college and then transfer those over but I believe it’s about 90,000 to 100,000. Give or take how many classes you transfer.
Good. Job. We'll. Done
