I laugh at you guys with this problem LOL my game crashes from regular spawns that I go to screenshot while you I assume ios users only get it from this glitch
it honestly isn't worth capturing the shiny sparkles to lose a shiny.

The point is , it shouldn't happen at all. The game should not crash from using in game features without closing out the game IMO
@@4realtime783 yeah that would be nice no bugs. But as the op stated getting the sparkles isn’t worth it. Taking the risk and getting the rewards of that are evident.
Normally its fine, but Niantic added a new glitch with incensed encounters. Now you will guarantee lose the encounter if you click the ar button. No clue why they removed notmal ar but as we can see anytime they add a new feature there’s a glitch to to go along with it
Heads-up from New Zealand - we were getting stationary incense spawns every two minutes. Still not as good as walking around, but very playable in my opinion.

Considering Ferroseed is going to be spawning during Global Go Fest with (most likely) better shiny odds, this was a weird choice for an incense day feature. Although, Incense days are usually the weakest of all the various weekend type events we have in the game, so I'm not surprised. After Skorupi incense day didn't go very well, I'd hoped Niantic would make some improvements to the incense day formula, but sadly no. Oh well. Also sorry you lost your shiny Ferroseed.
i think its a weirder choice to feature PIDGEY as a go fest spawn... you know, the bird thats spawning all the time
An hour left for it here in Adelaide and still no shinies. Also the daily incense was doing more ultra beast event spawns than event incense spawn
Waste of incenses. If it’s “incense” day should last longer then hour. Also I played most of the whole event and not one shiny.
Another slight tip be very careful with go plus ive had so many shinies run on me for accidentally pressing the button and the go plus tries catching it for me

No shinies for me today, but I did spend the day on the couch, haha. It was stupidly cold and windy here, and I just didn't feel like going out.
Well im a jay did like 60 ferroseeds...no shiny no hundo just 2 random shinys a wild onix 0* and a bue sanchew from an egg........in 6hrs walking waste of essence😏
im pretty sure shiny odds for ferroseed are 1/125 they are better odds but still way high
2 hours playing , about 40 checks , got 3 shiny ferroseed, a shiny tepig, and a shiny mankey off the daily 🙂

Well got to say that was my worst incense day ever. Well it’s 4:30 pm here and I played pretty much all 6 hours no shiny at all 😭. 30 mins left not wasting another incense. I got one shiny ferroseed a while back so that’s it for me, good luck all
Got no shiny Pokémon today
My bouncesweet shinys were running on me when catching by hand even if i used a golden razz AND ultra ball. I only caught 1 by hand (2 ran) yet for some reason i go plus plussed 3 of them. (This was also only my 3rd day of having a go ++) I also had a shiny Quilfish from a raid break out of the ball 7 or 8 times with a golden razz (i did eventually catch it thankfully) i think they may have made it harder to secure the catch on shinys. Idk what for what reason other than niantic hates us and wants us to suffer.

Apparently they didnt get the event up well in florida. Saw very few special spawns and a total of 14 ferrowseeds. Lousey event for our area
I scored a shiny galarian meowth :) but no Ferroseed
I never have the regular AR on, just the simple AR screen on. I feel like that doesn't glitch as much as the regular AR.
This "flee" bug has been a thing since AR was put in the game. Doesn't matter what flavour of AR you use sadly.
there is no simple AR anymore...they removed it

@@MsParisPlays do you still get it for captures? i have it on buddy but its never reapeard for capture, i get the new ar that never works for me at all
@@97MiloProductions I have it turned off for both buddy and catching. I just flicker AR really fast off and on and see the sparkles, cause I always like to snap a good picture of them.

I also hate that you can't turn off the AR+ mode where wild Pokemon can flee from you, like you used to be able to. I used to keep "AR+" disabled so I could take pictures of shinies as I encounter them with the real world background. Now I have to go through the hassle of "Slowly look around a flat, open area" and then have them possibly flee from me. Not worth it. Very stupid!

Didnt get to play as much as I would've liked but got a 1 shiny and a shiny Phantump. Also a 100 Goomy from Breakthrough so that was a nice bonus
I was kinda skeptical about playing this event at all and also I'm sick as a dog currently, but it gave me a reason to go out and stock up on resources lost from the last event. I was pleasantly surprised to see a ton of quests rewarding Great and Ultra Balls and I got hundreds of them back today!
Also, 2✨ Ferroseeds. I kept my expectations low even with the boost, but I lucked out getting one that was 3 stars. I really wanted the Meowth as that's the only form left that I don't have shinies of, but I could not get it!
Anyway, meh event. I don't really recommend playing this one unless you want to take this as an opportunity to stock up on balls for the next Community Day and eventually the Go Fests looming in the distance.
No, don't do that even if it's not incense day. Yes the spawn window for incense normally is 60 seconds, but when you reboot the game, more often than not it doesn't load the current spawn of your incense and just wait until the next one spawns, regardless of the spawn duration.
It's sad to see this happen to you Zoey, but we're playing the absolute #1 buggiest mobile game here, please for the sanity of your mind, only risk it if it's a wild spawn in the future.
Just lost a shiny Ferroseed the same way. Wish Niantic cared enough to fix the problems in the game, but they don't. So annoying!
I play from 11am to 5pm, unfortunately I didn’t get a single shiny so disappointing.
I don’t really understand why the shinyrate is 1/125 and not more sinilar to research days. Like its not easier to use incense then doing research with the walking aspect. Even if 1/10 was too high then 1/125 is too low
I played like 1hour maybe 2 but it is worth for me because I need beldum candy really bad I got like 40 candy till now I get back to the grind in a couple of minutes hopefully I get enough to evolve and power my shadow metang up I don't deny that this is a bad event but for me it's worth because of the candy
THE game keep crashing all day on the increase day. Lot of players couldn't login in perth western Australia.
Well, I had my Autocatcher running so I lost 1 and only shiny too from this event. Luckily I already had unlock earlier.
Gotta be honest, and I think I pretty much speak for everyone when I say, we dont care about shiny sparkles, just the shinies. So please just stop using ar.
Can you ask Niantic why they add glitches with every new feature? Like I didn’t know what the glitch was from this video and lost a shiny Ferroseed over it.🙄
I hate incense day because I miss out because I only have three PokeStops that I can walk to I liked it the way everything was in COVID hit the way that they had everything set up it was easy nice I was able to participate now it's just too difficult and everything costs money a lot of money
I didn’t spend the 1 pokecoin for the incense, since they are usually tossed. I set up 6 hours worth of incense and did some stationary catching and a two hour walk about… caught two ferroseed and one shieldon. Also a hundo trubbish
I lost a shiny skrelp from it running this event, and it was the only shiny i’v been hunting this event. Stopped playing today after that lol. Friend of mine also had a shiny beldum run from him. Stupid that they allow that mechanic in the games
Played 11-2 and got 1 shiny voltorb the first the whole time and on the last 10 mins of my last incense I got 2 back to back , almost gave up and said at least I got exercise
I worked until 3 so had a little under 2 hours to play. The daily incense is 30 minutes, but I don't think it was worth it as it has the same spawn rate that it always had. Plus the only thing from the event it spawned was Ferroseed. Ended the event on a regular incense and no shinies. Incense days IMO are not worth it at all.
I skipped this event because I already have a couple shiny Ferroseed & I assumed the other Pokémon didn’t have a boosted shiny rate so not worth my time.

Glad to know I wasn't the only one to get this bug, I lost a shiny Magnemite thanks to that stupid bug, Opened AR mode on, and it crashed my game.
I got a purple 100% nederan on the research! (i was sadly with my dad who doesn't know what im talking about) i tried not to squeal I also found a wild lapras not good ivs but i haven't seen one since last year so that was a win

I did the ar thing with mareanie and my game almost crashed, but thankfully it was a research spawn so it would have just got stacked. I wish you could turn the ar off totally like it was in the past.
I feel bad for all the youtubers that had lost all their shiny feroseeds. Niantic must feel shame. Huge publicity glitch in the community.

During Skorupi incense day last year, there were field research encounters for it which added the #of encounters...bit annoyed we didnt have that today. Managed to get two ferroseed shinies this year vs one skorupi last year

I caught a shiny carvanha in the morning, and then when I almost gave up caught two ferroseed in the last hour

The bird research was terrible for me, only got 1 shiny. I usually do bad on research/incense days though 😔
They need to focus on fixing the many issues that this game has! Way too many bugs, no other game has EVER had these many problems

i got super lucky go plussed a shiny voltrob dratini and tentacool and caught two shiny ferroseed

The ferroseed event was a bit of a flop. Not many ferroseeds to begin with and no shiny anywhere in sight.
2 ferroseed shiny and 1 meowth which was new to me. Played the whole event. Niantic need to do better.

Played at home first hour and last hour, out and about for the rest - 74 ferroseed caught 0 shinies. However, caught my fist ever shiny Croagunk! Yay! and a shiny spearow (number 5 lol) both not from incense. But did get a 100% Ferroseed from incense 😊

I started my day as a Zoe (literally lost a shiny the same way you did 🤦♀️) but ended the day an Alan with 3 shiny ferroseed caught. I was getting worried when I'd been walking almost 4 hours with no luck... then they just rolled on in. I really shouldn't have played *that* long though - have a head cold & am paying the price now 🤧 I needed someone to give me a health check warning 😂

I ended up with 3 shiny feroseed, 2 caught with pokeball plus while driving. My wife caught 1.
I forgot this was on, was busy and would have missed half of this anyway. Glad I didn't waste any effort on this by the look of it, though I'd love love love to have a shiny "feral seed"!
Niantic must release a clear and detail statement about boosted shiny rate during incense day.
Eventually it seems not boosted shiny for incense day theme Pokemon.
This is to avoid players feel being scammed by Niantic.
For legal reasons they cannot reveal any odds directly in-game. People could have a day of bad luck and not get a shiny in the advertised odds and then sue them even if it's still within the RNG odds. That's why card games or gacha games use rarity tiers and no real numbers. People are dumb enough to take 1/500 literally as 1 out of every 500 instead of a 1 in 500 chance each try, and then get mad because "they didn't get their guaranteed shiny".

my game once crashed while trying catch a shiny purloin luckily after restart it was still there. I got two shiny alolan meowths from i think it was the halloween event.i just need one more normal meowth to get persian then i have every shiny meowth variation and evolution.being a team rocket fan it is my life goal 😂
i walked pretty much 11 to 12 then 1 to 4... and only got 2 shinies - one ferroseed and one meowth. It definitely didn't feel boosted that ferroseed...
