- This is a cosplay makeup tutorial for 2-D from Gorillaz.

Products used:
Concealer - Ben Nye Red Neutralizer 2
Foundation - Ben Nye Warm Sand, Ben Nye Au Lait, Ben Nye Fairest
Neck - Covergirl Bronzer, any sort of bronzer would work
Lips - ashy brown eyeshadow
To seal - Ben Nye Final Seal Spray
Eyes - NYX White Liner, Ben Nye Blue Cream, Ben Nye Radical Red Cream, gel liner
Eyebrows - gel liner
Whiskers - fake hair, Spirit Gum
Hairspray - Phyto Organics VaporGel (I swear by this)
Teeth: For the teeth I used thermoplastic pellets, or Friendly Plastic. You warm them up then mold them to your teeth. After I did that I used regular acrylic paint to paint them! They're just plastic painted caps!
Wig: Arda Wigs, Inigo in Royal Blue (This wig had a lot of cutting done to it)
Contacts: eyesbright

This is one of the most accurate 2D cosplays ive seen! Most others look lazy or downright scary. All your other cosplays are great as well!

+Bailey Smith aw you dont have to worry about your body type. i love seeing different skin toned people and different sizes all cosplay the same character because you get to see how creative you can be when youre all different but the same :)
as a plus sized not-pretty cosplayer, I can say that body type/skin tone/face structure or anything like that doesn't matter in cosplay at all. As long as you're comfortable with your cosplays!

Any kind of videos I guess obviously cosplay as you are very good at it. Blogs perhaps as we are subscribers and I assume we the viewers would like to get to know you better I know I would. The rock band videos were fun as you guys playing. I think you must have some form of artistic skills as I think it's a bit difficult to put makeup on one's face do you draw.

for those of you not wanting to do a 2D cosplay because of the contacts you can get mini scleras. They don't cover the full eye but they're easier to get in and cheaper to.

I love this! One of the best cosplays I've seen! I would love to cosplay as 2D, but the problem is I'm kind of an overweight girl, so I feel like I would just look silly trying to cosplay as him =(

I understand being wary about cosplaying someone because they have a different body type, but ultimately, if you love a character enough it doesn't matter what you look like! If you put your heart into it, I don't think you can look silly. People will appreciate your hard work. Cosplaying can be nerve wracking this way, but the reason we do it is to have fun, so at the end that is all that really matters.

I don't really do anything besides hanging out with my friends and going to conventions!
Oh that's cool! Haha none of my friends like Gorillaz. In fact, when I met my friends here at college only one of them has even heard of the band but they still didn't even know the band had characters haha I'm kind of a lone fan =P

Watched this back in 2014 when working nightshift for the first time, I had only listened to the most famous Gorillaz songs prior but listening to the ones you had added was really chill with the whole atmosphere surrounding me, and I do to this day listen to all the songs they've made now and then, not just the mainstream ones. And they are all awesome in their own way

It can be uncomfortable depending on you. If discomfort persists you're suppose to take them out since they can be damaging on the eyes. Obviously, if they just feel funny it's nothing to worry about, but consistent irritation means they need to be popped out :P. It's why they're illegal to sell in the US.

They're very easy to take out! If you search "sclera contacts" I'm sure you can find many videos that demonstrate how to remove them.

It depends on how you are with sticking things in your eye. Before the scleras, I had been wearing regular contacts for several years. I watched a lot of videos on how to put them in, which helped me. It's trial and error the first times, you have to figure out which way is personally easiest for you to put them in. For me, the most difficult thing when I first put them in was sliding them under my eyelid. I even had my sister try to hold my eyelid up while I put them under!! That didn't work out too well, but eventually, with finger maneuvering, I was able to do it myself. It's not too painful, just weird. You have to get used to sliding something across your eye, haha. (Don't tell anyone, but I had to cut out like five minutes of this video of just putting in the contacts because it was really difficult trying to do it by looking in the camera lens, and making sure you guys could see it!) But yeah, don't get discouraged the first couple times you put them in! Practice makes perfect! And if one method doesn't work, try another! And by methods I mean different ways you can see people do them in videos. Wearing them is pretty weird, because, like I said before, you can feel them in there. It also makes you kind of bluh because just, giant thing in your eye, get it out! But it's not a constant bother for me. I wear them for like 10 hours which probably isn't the best thing to do, but if they're not bothering me a lot and they don't hurt, I feel fine. At the end of the day, like with all contacts usually, you just get sick of it. Just don't forget to keep your eyes moisturized with eye/contact drops!

I know everyone asks but do the contacts hurt at all? I mean, you shed a tear when you put the first one in
Echo 466 I've never put sclera (?) contacts in BUT I wear circle lenses on a daily basis and I always shed a tear whether it be because my eyes are sensitive or simply because the contact is wet. usually though, the contact doesn't hurt and the "tears" are just contact liquid. :3
No pain, just feels strange. The "tear" was just extra moisture being created from the action of putting something in my eye.

It depends if your eye is delicate or not, my eyes are very delicate and sensitive and when I put contacts in it hurts me xD

if youre talking about when they put the sclera lenses in, it was probably just clearing liquid for the lenses or natural tears, putting normal contacts in makes me tear up due to natural reflex so sclera contacts must be a pain to put in...
