IHHP Wadeye - Tomorrows Leaders

Indigenous Hip Hop Projects team of Syd, Jess, Kamahi and Jerome are back in Wadeye NT for round two with Our Lady of the Sacred Heart School to produce this all star music video with the Wadeye leaders.
This song gives voice to the school values and pride surrounding the students home that is Wadeye and shines light on all which the students believe important to their school and lives out side of school. During the development of the lyrics the students really tried to focus on looking forward and their future aspirations drawing lyrics like 'today we're the students, tomorrow we're the teachers'.
The lyrics are sung, spoken and rapped in both English and Murrinh-patha which is the dominant language spoken in the community and a proud connection for the youth to traditional culture and language. Once again IHHP cannot thank the support and dedication of Our Lady Of The Sacred Heart Thamarrurr School and their staff for once again bringing us back.
