I went to meet Alices plane when he flew into Detroit on the Welcome to my Nightmare tour.. Suzi Quatro was the warn up act..I got there about an hour before the plane was supposed to come in.. and saw a older guy sitting in the area reading the paper.. he saw our cameras and said how did you find out this, it's supposed to be a secret..It was her dad picking her up.. we had 1 of my favorite conversations I have ever had for the next hour... I just saw Alice 2 weeks ago in Kalamazoo 2 weeks ago and it was my 50th time seeing him live

I was 15 years of age when I stayed at my uncles and aunts who weren’t much older’s place for the summer in the year Susie Quattros second album came out. It was amoung others that were played over and over and those songs and memories are pressed in my mind.

Interestingly, Suzi opened for Alice at the LA Forum show, Welcome to my nightmare tour 1974 I believe it was. I attended that show and what an incredible show it was. Suzi opened with "The bitch is back" and Alice was unreal, acting out every song like a play, pure rock and roll theatre...
Alice made the entire evening! Zombie’s stage show was better than his singing. Borderline karaoke at this point! The hometown guy stole the show as usual!! Hail AC!
