I think Steve is one of the most creatively made characters by far. We thought he was just gonna build blocks but we didn't expect him to mine and craft! That's why he's gonna be my second main. (My first main is hero btw)

It would be pretty unlikely that they would bother to give him a weapon because of how it works. They could program neutral special so that he simply attacks with a weapon, but it would not be very unique. I just really don't see them doing much else.
@@user-yo6dt6vw2l Olimar's neutral special is throwing a pikmin. Since Kirby needs to pluck a pikmin to throw one, and he has no pluck move, it was incorporated into his neutral special. But the pinkmin throw move is the only move that does this, because that move does not work on its own. I don't think this will be the case for this one though. Steve's neutral special works on its own; mining and placing blocks is all in the special move itself.

Witch time is the only thing I'm scared of hitting but even then, it's not like I'm gonna die from center stage. Now, getting witch timed next to the blast zone allowing her to back air you into it... that was a clip that genuinely surprised me. But that's on a different video.
God bridging is almost a feature in Bedrock Edition since you can place blocks in front of yourself without targeting the side of the block you're on, so I guess it's accurate to that version in that sense ^.^
Just a couple side notes that I think viewers were confused about in the presentation: Japan is not in lock down currently. It ended the lockdown in June. However, large companies like Nintendo still continue to work from home. This is to foster a positive image with the public and to help set an example. Many large companies are choosing to work from home while smaller ones are back in the office and have been since June/July. The word “magma” is present in the Japanese language (マグマ) but, for general use, the word Yōgan (溶岩) is used for both. This is also for things like frogs and toads. I imagine this was to better explain the difference between these two attacks and to maybe help with younger viewers.
Tadeo Castillón you make a good point, HOWEVER... Remember his neutral b in mid air? He can place a block, and get his jump and double jump back, jumping off the block. Feel free to disagree but combining that and his Up-B could mean that he is almost impossible to edgeguard, recovering high, low, stalling and all kinds of other shit you can do.

Although the fact that gold is better than iron in this irritates me slightly. And I'm not sure about the flint and steel being affected by gravity. It can't do that in Minecraft itself.
I hope you were actually paying attention because gold isn't better than iron in this. Sure it has a faster swing but it's weaker in terms of giving people the slap and apparently it breaks faster.

Dude you need to know the difference between broken and game changing. While I will not deny Steve looks like a good charecter, I think that Steve will change the way we think of playing smash.
Remember when people thought Min Min would be busted? I feel like this will be the same. He’ll be good, no doubt, but not as good as some say. His short range and having to mine for materials every 5 seconds nerfs him.
The only thing that makes sense is that gliding is fixed. Facts about they haven't found an ideal way to nerf the glide and here they figure out the problem and add it with some tweaks to the mechanism.

Watch the NintendoUK directs to always have subtitles. The NintendoUK direct also don't do silly censorship and actually uses the real game titles like "Assassins Creed", "Fallout", "No More Heroes". - I always watch the UK direct due to this. Then I watch all these other UA-camrs and notice these weird changes.
