To me she's one of the most underrated singers out there country or otherwise, this another perfect examples of how good she really is.

This is her own song and she was the one that sang it. You can't blame her for something she's done on her own. Again, what you have described about her is not a reflection of who she is, it's a reflection of you and I pray that you get the help you need to get yourself together so you can find peace and let go of the misery and pent-up anger that you have inside you. Just add she sounds like an actual country singer and I know that a lot of people get flack for being pop country. And I don't really see anything wrong with that part. But this is a Southern girl to her roots. And I'm agnostic and her music still moves me. She has an amazing voice and it's not a cookie cutter sound.
I'm glad she's starting to get the recognition she deserves w/ the Opry induction. But country music needs to swing the doors wide open for her. She's had hit song after hit song that have not gotten the traction they deserved. I mean...even on the award shows...this girl needs performance spots at least.

I've heard this song A bunch of times. But this one hit differently she put her heart and soul into this one. I didn't even know she could get that kind of gravel going. The lyrics are definitely hard-hitting I think every celebrity or star feels that way at some point they've missed out on so much but wouldn't trade it for what they have. And her parents were right cuz she's still going far. I absolutely love this and to be honest I think it's her best vocal performance I've heard which is saying a lot.

This song captures what everyone is thinking and feeling. Lauren is very underrated just like many of the young women of country. Radio jocks have it in their head that no on likes music from the female perspective. I know the older women, and some of the men, are trying to figure out how to fix this. Idea: why don't we get more women in the radio industry...djs, producers, owners.
