The dog wasn't blacked out, those were his son's bodies. The woman screaming was his wife who he shot. She was screaming about how he took her life, her babies. The bodycam was horrific. This case is truly tragic. Family annihilators are truly evil.

I would not have blamed the arresting officer, and the other officers, if they accidentally turned off their body cams and the evil father had an accident such as tripping and falling on concrete multiple times, or running into a door multiple times etc.

Thank you for explaining the charges, sometimes the legal terms and functions are hard to understand. i grew up in Mt. Carmel as well; Mt dad still lives in Clermont County.
unfortunately, i still live within 20-30 min from this devastating tragedy. the bodycam footage shown is edited with the black square(s) to obscure the bodies of the perpetrator's 3 sons, whom he shot, execution style, in front of his wife. his stepdaughter ran away to the firehouse, across the corner. one of the boys was running away, but CD dragged him back to finish. only after prying one of the children straight from the mother's arms 😢 that's when she got shot.

I not only weep for the mother but also for the daughter robbed of the life of her siblings and what this is going to do to her mind. She is at an age where young people have mental breakdowns over tragedies such as this. I pray her mother and she can lean on each other and hold one another up through this. @@lexybaginsky yes it’s true such a horrific crime would effect anyone negatively. However, I am looking at statistics. And facts show most young adults will present with a diagnosed mental illness [caused by a psychosis] nearly 90% of the time when an event such as this occurs at her age. What I’m saying is this tragedy could push an already impressionable teen over the edge. Especially because there are family dynamics involved that have already been described as having a mentally abusive father in the household. She requires extensive therapy NOW. I am sure and pray this is already being done for both the young girl and her mother. And I pray they stick together through this.

I’ve been wondering if you were going to cover this. It’s truly heartbreaking what he’s done. The fact that he PLANNED this is where I feel the line in the sand was drawn, bc as wrong as it is on a whole to actually plan something so horrifying speaks so much more to the fact that this wasn’t a spur of the moment act done in a fit of drunken rage or desperation, it wasn’t an act of emotional violence where voluntarily manslaughter comes into play. It was cold blooded premeditated murders, & that speaks to how I feel the defendant should be punished.

It seems he was punishing his wife. He knew what would hurt her the most. I don't know this to be true in this case, but the most lethal time in a domestic abuse situation is when the abuser realizes the victim is leaving. The stepdaughter was running to the firehouse down the road to get help and yelled at a passerby to call 911.

The teenage stepdaughter head run down the street to the fire station. A woman in a vehicle tried to pick her up and made a call to 911. The woman is the mom and she can be heard saying “This is my life!” This was a revenge killing where Chad Doerman was trying to make sure his wife would suffer to the end of her days. He knew she was planning to leave him. That’s always the most dangerous time for DV victims so if you are in that situation please please make a safe plan with DV agencies.

Peter, taking the time to breakdown the charges that those of us could not comprehend is one step closer (respectively) for us all, in paying respect for the lives lost in this tragedy, that is also incomprehensible. As hard as this must have been to enter for you, you are showing true respect by shedding light on it for those boys and Justice in general. Thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. This is very sensitive for parents, young ones, teachers and anyone and everyone in between and knowing someone with a legal background also struggled with diving into all the details of this, unites us in a sense.

This makes my soul sick.. yes it is a thing to feel sick ALL the way to your core. Before being a mother it would break my heart to see any children be victims of any type of violence. But now I see all children through a mother’s love. I put myself into those shoes, and those are my kids. This is devastating, unbearable, incomprehensible..evil, and still I could never know how that mother feels. I never want this for any child. You JUST DONT TOUCH CHILDREN. If you are miserable around your kids leave them with a responsible parent and disappear from their life, literally a deadbeat dad looks better than this piece of garbage who is rotten inside and out.
