Amazing response, Small problem! New unit down for for 2 weeks, WEAK! design, 44 PTO horsepower, lever engagement Kubota Mx5100, used 5 times, always started at idol. Recall! Or send a PTO clutch! Amazing quality machine, to have such a weak link.

Ok, instead of trying to convince everyone that there is no flaw, work with me on a properly sized PTO clutch, I would like to use this machine on my Kubota M-5 091 also.

Beware, bought a new Panther Pro, weak gearbox design! They blame the Tractor electric over hydraulic engagement! My dealer took care of it. The factory is Lame!

Dear Larry the damage you had on the gearbox was on the keys/Springs which are fitted on those gear boxer for two reasons : First is the overrun clutch that disconnect the PTO drive, when you stop the tractor PTO the flails shaft rotate few seconds up to its stop not acting on tractor drive so that if the tractor driver jump on ground the tractor wheels do not move in safe. Second some time happens that working on old tractors clutch system or electronic clutch engage or engaging the clutch when tractor is at 540rpm full speed the PTO shaft turns in a fast way into the gearbox gears. In your case it broke just the Keys/Springs which is a small damage comparing to gears breakage. Promptly we sent the keys/spring to our US distributor that consequently assist you.
