@@LoftyPursuits I thought the opening pan with the multiple color rose was really nice. It showed the color and really highlighted just how clear the transparent areas are. He has some of the most enjoyable insights, history lessons, and the way how he explains each video like you only just started on the current video, versus just assuming that each viewer will know the process by now is the hallmark trait of a person who genuinely wants to spread his passion for candy making to his viewers at large. The crew there at Lofty Pursuits must feel blessed to have Greg. But even more then that, Lofty Pursuits in general must be blessed to have a team that comes together to make something magical for each of these videos. Thank you very much.
Beautiful done. Also I love how you mentioned the Japanese candy makers. The Japanese have a very interesting and tasty variety of sweets. Oddly enough when I first discovered your channel a few years back I believe I was watching Japanese and Asian candy, cakes, and realistic looking candy animal sculptures that look like glass figurines.

So, seriously, thank you for giving an opportunity for working experience and giving them credit!

How do you keep the clear from turning white after handling it so much? Wouldn’t all the handling of the clear act somewhat like the hook pulling-therefore turning it whiter?
Can anyone tell me what the song in the background of this is? I've heard it before but can't place it- and it's driving me crazy. More to the point- awesome and mesmerizing video as always!
When it's done. It's been much harder to do than I thought. I'm still working on the music rights, and there are two shots I really wanted to re-shoot in November (when the harvest happens) that I could not do, due to Covid. I've shot close to 90 hours of footage so far, and it's not where I want it to be. This was a bigger project than I'd thought it would be, but I hope it to be great, even if the footage is shot in one year increments.
Been cooking professionally for 15 years now and still have a hell of a time with sugar. Its almost always crystallizing on me....do you use isomalt or any special stabilizer like corn syrup?

Maybe I missed it but on past videos the white color was achieved by the pulling process alone. If this candy was going to be pulled why was the white food coloring needed?
I always notice that when you're done there's always a good bit of candy "sand" or "dust" that settles to the bottom of the pile. Do you sell that? I think it would be a cool thing like "Candy Sand" or sold for baking sprinkles or something. Maybe even as "Sand Art" with a little figurine bottle. :D
It has so much surface area that it gets sticky even before we're done bagging the candy. It becomes a solid lump of not so good quickly most if the year. Also since it's quite fluffy there's a lot less of it than you think. we do have employees who collect it and use it in their tea
I love that you explain the basic process every time, so the new viewers know whats happening.
