wow 2 years later and the AL era exceeded every expectation i had! the raw honesty, Taylor's producing, the live shows and everything in between. during the self titled era i felt a weird disconnect, they were playing arenas, winning the Grammy, them being more private, it just all felt very serious. yet i have never felt more connected to them than right now, 10 years after first listening to them. all the other bands i was into never made me feel like Paramore did and still does. it also breaks my heart knowing one day they'll give it up. fuck i love this band. (srry for the cheese it's 2am ok leave me alone)
@@km606x okay so the 'This is Why' era. Was kinda 'meh' about the album at first, the singles they dropped before the album came out are definetly not the best songs, however I have the album on repeat a month later, such a good mix of all their albums but sounds way cleaner and is still somehow a new sound. Paramore is officially a 'cool band' and this is album was highly anticipated and I was kinda worried it'd sound more pop like AL even though it's my fave album of theirs. I'm very proud of the album - it represents everything Paramore. The live shows are amazing, Hayley really seems more confident than ever and Brian matches their energy on stage. Taylor spoke in an interview about his social anxiety which was cool and relatable lol If anything, this era makes me confident in the fact that I will be a Paramore fan till the day I die, every new album will be a gift
easily the best paramore era
