Just found your channel. I'm 4'11" always struggle with finding the right clothes. I follow some other influencers that refer to themselves as being petite, but 5'3' and 5'4" is still a large height difference for me. Love your clothing selection. Thanks for sharing your information.😀

Love white sweater an length of shorts you like. At 75 and 125 lb, I bought similar ones fearing I couldn’t pull it off… wrong!! I totally feel really comfortable also the midi and ankle length dresses also work for the “wise” woman!!!

It never ceases to amaze me that clothing manufacturers do not cater enough for shorter women. Either the clothes are so small they are not suitable for those of size 14 or above. Or, they never offer the standard clothes in shorter lengths etc. Another gripe is that they assume when sumer arrives, that we all suddenly revert to wearing capri leggins! Please, offer summer clothing that is in proportion, and full length summer leggins!
I totally agree with not enough manufacturers produce petite appropriate clothes but what about small size shoes like 4, 5, 5.5 and size 6 and they are very difficult to find because they may be sold out.. I would like to see a shoe manufacturer cater to small size shoes, boots, scarves, sweaters, leggings, hats, purses to our size … There is a population that is petite I have found some clothing at Banana Republic and their factory stores as well… why are petites priced so high yet there are not many sale items because there really is a need for petites sizing…

The first dress she said she wears a small, but what is her weight? The sizing guide on Amazon starts at a size 6 so I’m trying to figure out what is the average weight of a person wearing a small versus wearing a medium. Thank you.
@@mamabirdie734 She lists her weight in the description box (95 lbs). For the dress on Amazon, I use the size chart they give - while they list a Small as a US 4-6, they also give the corresponding measurements, so I usually go with those.
There are many of us petite women, who wanna or not an extra small or a zero. I’m basically a size 6 or eight that compromises a look because things don’t hang right in addition not only is the height important I’m short wasted that’s very important. a lot of people don’t understand that your torso proportion can make things look good or bad. Predominantly bad because anything with a slight fit will hit improperly on your hip and bunch up on the top. I’m an FIT graduate ,I was a fashion designer, both my parents and extended family were in the fashion business, my husband is in the fashion business and just the word petite does not give a full explanation. asian petite women tend to be longer waisted, Latin, Hispanic in my case I’m Italian tend to be shorter wasted. These are important facts I think in bringing to petite women what will fit for them.
Yes , I’m 5’1 however , I’m long waisted . So petite tops , will never fit ,and some dresses the waist is under my bust . Reg sizes always are to long everywhere else . So hard ,to look proportioned in clothes .

So many of the items you modeled would be ones that I wouldn’t have attempted to wear, but you show how beautifully they can be styled! I’m 69, and weigh about 125 lbs. (lost 30 lbs) I used to be 5’ 2” but am now 5 feet! I am struggling get used to my shorter height, and could stand to lose about 10 more lbs. Until then, many of these items would just not look as attractive on me as they do on you. But you look lovely, and you inspire me! Thank you for the great suggestions! 🤗
I knew when you said you wear a size petite extra small or a double zero petite this would not be for me. I can't believe that the industry does not get petite Is is a stature not a size double zero. There are many of us 5 zero gals who have a little junk in the trunk. We are petite but wear a size 12 or 14 or more. Of course everything looks fantastic when you wear a double zero. This is not reality for most of us.
That is why I share things that are offered in petite sizes at all sizes. Just because I wear a smaller size doesn’t mean it wouldn’t look good on another petite frame. I also love that many styles I share are available in tall too, so there is something for everyone.
Oh, I’m sorry you feel the need to leave such a comment. I clicked on all the links and there’s all sizes. Petites sizing focuses on shorter inseams, shorter sleeves, smaller armholes (one of the biggest issues I have as a petite person), smaller shoulders, and shorter pant rises. It doesn’t mean it’s only for zero, or double zero. I’m 5’0, 114lbs, and pear shaped. That means in general my tops are zero, dresses zero to two, and pant size 2 (in petite sizing) and I am pretty sure I’m curvier in my bottom than she is and I have a bigger cup size, so I have to size accordingly. This is still very helpful, because I can see the length etc. on a person of my stature. It is difficult for me to find my sizes in petites in stores because they carry very little of them overall and even fewer in smaller sizes, so I really appreciate videos like this.

I am a senior citizen and 5' 1" but not real slender like you. Well..I am very small from having narrow shoulders but not slender upper arms. Petite on upper half but not petite in waist, thighs or knees, then slender calf down to ankle. I guess pear shaped. I don't wear anything sleeveless but will wear short sleeve tops. Do not wear shorts ever or anything unless covers the knees, so pretty hard to find the right clothes. Pant legs always too long and cannot afford alterations.

Ha ha...I put stuff in my pockets! Sometimes money, sometimes keys...Sometimes I fill them because I don't want to tote a purse. I'm also a grown woman over 50 and 5 feet tall, I weigh about 93 lbs...This is the first time I've found you. I think we have gotten used to our clothes not touching us. Seems like some of these pieces would have been better in an X-small. I sure like your style.

I love those floral dresses. I'm 74 and I'm also 5'. I weigh around 115 usually unless I ate too much ice cream.😊 I don't wear sleeveless unless I can wear something over the dress or top. I have old wrinkled arms and bony shoulders. I normally wear 3/4 sleeve or long sleeve. Even in summer. I get really frustrated trying to find things that fit me. I wear a size 4s in jeans and pants and small petite or medium petite in tops. I don't like form fitting shirts because I have a roll. I'm just a mess. 😂

As fall approaches, could you do a video on finding classic knee high boots that have shorter shaft (14" height) and narrow calves (14" circumference). Descriptions on websites are never accurate. Basically all these items are for thin people! Not short people! I checked out a few of the items in this video and they were for regular height people that comes in a size “small”. They are not “petite” sized. Please don’t say these are for petite. While I am 5 foot (I wear a size 12) I must wear clothes that are made for someone who is shorter so the clothes lay properly. A short thin person can get away with wearing women’s clothing in a smaller size like small but not a short heavier person like myself.
I appreciate your feedback so much. I was careful to use the wording “petite friendly” instead of “petite” as they are regular sizes that could work for a petite person. Going forward I will be more mindful of that. Many of my other videos are about petite size fashion (Talbots, J Crew, etc.). Thanks again for your response💕.
I also just found your channel am 4’11”, liked the video, and subscribed! I am so happy to have found someone to address this issue! All these clothes are exactly my taste. It is so rare for me to find any channel that talks about fashion for petite women. I’m tired of having lived a life of taking a pair of scissors to cut my jeans, never knowing where to shop for clothes that fit, and wanting age appropriate fashion not in the Juniors section. I like classic, timeless, pieces and in an age where consumerism is excessive and everyone wants to purge and live a simpler life I would absolutely appreciate if you did a video about acquiring some basic pieces of fashion and from that creating multiple outfits. Those are my favorite videos. Usually people attempt to do so when traveling but I think it’s equally as valuable to do so in our daily lives.
I’m so happy to find your channel. I’m 5’4 with a similar body type to yours. Most channels I’ve found for women over fifty tend to gear toward larger body types. Great choices for those of us who are on the slender side!

I knew when you said you wear a size petite extra small or a double zero petite this would not be for me. I can't believe that the industry does not get petite Is is a stature not a size double zero. There are many of us 5 zero gals who have a little junk in the trunk. We are petite but wear a size 12 or 14 or more. Of course everything looks fantastic when you wear a double zero. This is not reality for most of us.
That is why I share things that are offered in petite sizes at all sizes. Just because I wear a smaller size doesn’t mean it wouldn’t look good on another petite frame. I also love that many styles I share are available in tall too, so there is something for everyone.
I also wear a size 12 but I think what’s being illustrated is the lengths and the shoulders etc...
She can only be what she is….why leave a negative comment? Move on to a more appropriate model for yourself.

Oh, I’m sorry you feel the need to leave such a comment. I clicked on all the links and there’s all sizes. Petites sizing focuses on shorter inseams, shorter sleeves, smaller armholes (one of the biggest issues I have as a petite person), smaller shoulders, and shorter pant rises. It doesn’t mean it’s only for zero, or double zero. I’m 5’0, 114lbs, and pear shaped. That means in general my tops are zero, dresses zero to two, and pant size 2 (in petite sizing) and I am pretty sure I’m curvier in my bottom than she is and I have a bigger cup size, so I have to size accordingly. This is still very helpful, because I can see the length etc. on a person of my stature. It is difficult for me to find my sizes in petites in stores because they carry very little of them overall and even fewer in smaller sizes, so I really appreciate videos like this.

I can’t find petite pants on Amazon either.
I am a senior citizen and 5' 1" but not real slender like you. Well..I am very small from having narrow shoulders but not slender upper arms. Petite on upper half but not petite in waist, thighs or knees, then slender calf down to ankle. I guess pear shaped. I don't wear anything sleeveless but will wear short sleeve tops. Do not wear shorts ever or anything unless covers the knees, so pretty hard to find the right clothes. Pant legs always too long and cannot afford alterations.

Ha ha...I put stuff in my pockets! Sometimes money, sometimes keys...Sometimes I fill them because I don't want to tote a purse. I'm also a grown woman over 50 and 5 feet tall, I weigh about 93 lbs...This is the first time I've found you. I think we have gotten used to our clothes not touching us. Seems like some of these pieces would have been better in an X-small. I sure like your style.

I love those floral dresses. I'm 74 and I'm also 5'. I weigh around 115 usually unless I ate too much ice cream.😊 I don't wear sleeveless unless I can wear something over the dress or top. I have old wrinkled arms and bony shoulders. I normally wear 3/4 sleeve or long sleeve. Even in summer. I get really frustrated trying to find things that fit me. I wear a size 4s in jeans and pants and small petite or medium petite in tops. I don't like form fitting shirts because I have a roll. I'm just a mess. 😂

As fall approaches, could you do a video on finding classic knee high boots that have shorter shaft (14" height) and narrow calves (14" circumference). Descriptions on websites are never accurate. Basically all these items are for thin people! Not short people! I checked out a few of the items in this video and they were for regular height people that comes in a size “small”. They are not “petite” sized. Please don’t say these are for petite. While I am 5 foot (I wear a size 12) I must wear clothes that are made for someone who is shorter so the clothes lay properly. A short thin person can get away with wearing women’s clothing in a smaller size like small but not a short heavier person like myself.
I appreciate your feedback so much. I was careful to use the wording “petite friendly” instead of “petite” as they are regular sizes that could work for a petite person. Going forward I will be more mindful of that. Many of my other videos are about petite size fashion (Talbots, J Crew, etc.). Thanks again for your response💕.

It is so rare for me to find any channel that talks about fashion for petite women. I’m tired of having lived a life of taking a pair of scissors to cut my jeans, never knowing where to shop for clothes that fit, and wanting age appropriate fashion not in the Juniors section. I like classic, timeless, pieces and in an age where consumerism is excessive and everyone wants to purge and live a simpler life I would absolutely appreciate if you did a video about acquiring some basic pieces of fashion and from that creating multiple outfits. Those are my favorite videos. Usually people attempt to do so when traveling but I think it’s equally as valuable to do so in our daily lives.

How do you stay so thin? I’m 66 and 5’1 and a size 10. The smallest I’ve ever been is a size 8.
Mainly with intermittent fasting & being very careful about what I eat.
