Again!! Great info Ruben. I myself wouldn't go that far in to Seawolf park. I would usually stop and fish by pelican bridge and caught some doormats. Still good to know brotha, and I'm placing this info in my archives. Thanks funk so brotha!!! Tight lines never stop brotha!!!!!
@@TexasAllWaterFishing , dang! Well, that's good to know. I'll try the spots at Texas City that you showed. Thanks for that info brotha! Tight lines never stop Funk so brotha!!!
Great sharing, also highlighting safety. I have fished out there for years, season has been shifting later and later due to warmer weather. I have fished with you a few times this season while wading, I mostly use live finger mullet for flounder. But at times get out fished by gulp. Keep up the good work.
I LOVE this video… I’ve watched a bunch and this is the best! Great Information, tips, warnings, great attitude, this guys sounds like somebody I would love to have as a fishing buddy (or even non-fishing buddy). Thanks…. I know this area but learned so much new valuable info. can’t wait for December to go again.
I remember my dad taking me out to Seawolf when I was a kid. We fished somewhere off the rocks and he taught me how he used to trick the arcade games into taking pennies!
It was closed because of the bridge & then because of the hurricane but I believe it's back open. Bait Daddys has a bait shop there & I was talking to the owner Sunday & he said they were opening it back up Monday.
You know I don't wear one so I'm not going to suggest anyone else to. Ppl have to take their own safety into account. If it was a place like San Luis Pass where people were drowning every year I wouldn't make a video showing it as a good wade fishing spot. Thanks for watching 🤙🏼
@@TexasAllWaterFishing Man that's great, thanks! I was trying to see the depth chart for Kates Hole in the Corpus Christi/Laguna Madre area and unfortunately both maps that cover that spot doesn't show it, bummer. Oh well, thanks again!!
This isn't an app in the video it's a NOAA Nautical Chart I used online. OceanGrafix.com but as far as an app you can download the lowrance app and use it as a depth map. I use it when I'm scouting a new area or to find a deep hole to fish. Thanks for watching👊🏼🤙🏼
How many comments you get from people butt hurt that you're dropping these gems, because I had a few people crying about it on my vlog "7 Best Spots to Fish at Seawolf Park" covering the same info.😂😂😂🤷🏿♂️
@@TexasAllWaterFishing Yeah its debatable amongst them. Supposedly the waters weren't cold enough for a proper spawning, but the data is insufficient imo.
Good info but you do know you don’t have to pay to wade fish the area? All you have to do is park behind the signs and walk in there on the left hand side. You only have to pay if you fish in the park.
From my understanding if you fish that area by entering through the parks grounds you have to pay. There's signs posted in front stating if you pass this point you must pay. There's park employees on a goftcart that with stop you if they see you & ask you to pay.
This great information for us to use. That’s for posting this. I’m always looking for great places to fish without a boat!
Glad it was helpful!
Seawolf has great trout fishing too. I learned it and love
I haven't fished there for trout in years, every spring I talk about hitting SWP but haven't made it out there yet. Maybe I'll hit it this year
Great video, thanks.
Glad you liked it!
Love the info video. Would love to see more videos like this for other fishes and crabbing spots.
Thanks, I don't crab lol
Very useful information brother! Thanks!

Hey is there a bait and tackle shop by the park?
Never mind u mentioned it in the video lol

Great video with great advice. What is the best months for wade fishing for flounder at Seawolf?
Anytime from Oct-Jan you just have to time it right. Thanks for watching 🤙🏼
Great video, is there any place to camp out
Thanks, no no camping there

🤣 that's too cool
Was this google maps your using when you showed the water depth?
I was a website, I can't remember which one. But I just searched Galveston water depths
@@TexasAllWaterFishing I took a trip down to Seawolf park the other day and it’s shut down. You have any idea how long it’s going to be shut down?

Thank you for the great info, I love Sea Wolf Park. I may have to try different parts of the park besides just the pier. Stay safe Reuben!
Hate that they cancelled the season this year. I don't really think it was necessary biologically.
I spoke to a couple biologists they seem to think so... but yea it definitely stinks the season it closed
