    I've got 2 of them.... at different venues. They've been in service 10years, and still doing well.

    Good vid. thanks for giving your opinion. I also chose the Briggs. These are powered by the Vanguard series engines. I've done a great deal of in depth research. Briggs made the decision to bring out an industry leading monster of an engine and the result was the Vanguard. I have a couple in some other pieces of equipment and I can tell you they're bulletproof. Keep the oil fresh and the air filter clean and it will run strong and hard every time.

    Thank you for the post. My in-laws live on Prince Edward Island in Eastern Canada and they just had a major (for them) hurricane knock out power to the entire province. Their B&S ran for 48 hours straight, but ran out of propane. There is a truck on the way to deliver some as I write this. IS there any advice you have as to how to restart it once the fuel supply is replenished?

      Since it is propane you shouldn't have to prime it all you should have to do clear the code if it errored out when it ran out of propane and then set it to run and it should be just fine

    Having trouble understanding how to set up the Exercise Timer. The instruction manual is difficult to understand and need a walkthrough to change date, time and minutes on the control panel. Thank you.

    I have that exact unit which I bought three years ago here in Ontario. Huge mistake! It cost almost 12,000.00 for the unit and install. I was told it would cost about 200.00 per year for maintenance. This year it cost over 500.00 as it already needed a new battery. It has also needed other new parts which so far have been covered by the warranty thankfully but it's only three years old. I tried to give it to my son since it is not worth my trouble and so few outages but it would cost over 5000.00 to have it moved only 30 minutes away. I feel like a total fool for wasting my money on this inferior product. Save yourself a bag of money and invest in a good wood stove and battery operated lights and you'll be good to go.

    Trying to figure out how to work my home generator that we purchased with the house. It’s saying low battery voltage. I never worked one before. Is it safe to try messaging with it at all?

    • @pleasantdayfarms4123

      When I first got mine it did that it just ment the battery is going dead and if your battery is old you may just need a new one

    Does the $3,500 include installation? If not how much is installation?

    • @pleasantdayfarms4123
      @pleasantdayfarms4123  3 роки тому

      The price of this unit has went up to about 3700 since I posted the video and that does not include installation. If you set it on a pad and just get a electrician to wire it it would run you about 1500

      @@pleasantdayfarms4123 that all depends on what part of he country you live in. I’m near DC and we get ab $7500 to hook up the electric.

    Generac are wayyyy over rated and over priced and have a boat load of issues with the newer gen sets. This one will do the job when needed and will provide clean power with no problem.

      Just an hour ago I sat with a pro who's likely to install ours (as it should be). He carries both Briggs and Generac and he pretty much confirmed my suspicions about Generac. He said from his side of things, Generac is the worst to deal with and he would always rather deal with Briggs. Generac will leave him on hold and are generally bullies to installers to the extent that they tried to make him become a Generac only. He resisted and now does Generac through Lowes.
      He also said between the two brands, it's more of a "Chevy/Ford" argument and they're both about equal in performance.
