*WHATS THE NEXT LEAGUE VIDEO SHOULD I DO?* *WE ONLY 10K AWAY FROM 50K WERE ON THE LAST STRETCH BEFORE I DROP ME AND SHIZZY 6 aka VI SECS NEW SONG!* ua-cam.com/video/ofMvKSma500/v-deo.html
So all of those are actual pro players at the game , the dude at the top was considered untouchable and the best for years and the main guy finally beat him. Lol :)
The character is representing the player Ambition and the video is representing his climb through the World Championship Tournament from the previous year (2017) from this videos release (2018). It starts off with him having defeated his opponents in the tournament's group stage, and then he begins his path through the playoff stages. The variety of weapons he wields actually represent a few different champions (the actual characters you play in game) that he played. The two sword/dagger things are the Claws of Kha'zix, the whip is Sejuani, and the spear is Jarvan IV. His first fight you see is him fighting a player from the European team G2 (player's name is Perkz, character he is playing is Yassuo, who was the DJ in Giants) in the quarter finals. The second fight is him versus the Chinese team RNG (the player's name is Uzi, playing the character Vayne). Then he arrives at that temple like place, representing the finals. The various logos you see on those statues actually represent all the previous winners of the tournament. The final fight is against Korean team SKT T1. The player is Faker, widely considered the best player of all time, and his team has won more World Championships than any other in history, including back to back wins. The character Faker is playing is Ryze. At the end, we see the logo of Ambition's team (Samsung Galaxy) appear on the statue. Afterwards we see a variety of players from many different teams all looking to make the climb in 2018 and take home the championship for themselves. Edit: We see Uzi wake up at the end because his team was considered the best that year going into the tournament.
Yeah, Riot snuck in a LOT of references in that clip. For example, the opening scene has a slightly nighmarish vibe because in the World Championship BEFORE that (2016), Ambition's team Samsung Galaxy lost the finals against SK Telecom T1. Before Worlds 2017, Samsung had a pretty bad time in the South Korean Championship, losing the spring playoffs early and then having to compete for the last Korean seed for Worlds after SKT beat them in the summer playoffs (competitive League has two seasons, spring and summer). So they barely made it in.
He didn’t beat uzi in the real tournament in 2017 uzi was illuminated by SKT but in the video it showed that he got one shot because in the end of the video it was shown that he woke up from being knocked out
Just a quick correction, ambition actually faced perkz in the group stage. In the quarter finals he beat kingzone dragon X, the best Korean team of that year
the pro league player has the abilities of the champ that they were using that season.. it's why the guy with the sk telecom t1 jacket on (whose name is Faker: and he's highly regarded as one of the greatest league players of all time) was using mage abilities bc he uses mages
It's not just "any" person, iirc it's either Caps or Perkz; all the people he fights are the leads of teams he fought against the year before, and all the weapons used are references to the champs that played an important part in those series.
Good you will realize that all the extra stuff outside of the main game itself is amazing at pushing the story of all the characters and also know SFJ that there is usually a live performance of most of the music videos you watch so make sure to get it all and welcome to the league family. Watched you for your Tom Macdonald nf and mgk reactions plus others and glad to see someone with real talent watching league stuff now
"these people look like the least threatening people ever" - Scru Face Jean about the one they call 'the unkillable demon king' 3 time world champion Lee 'Faker' Sang Hyeok
@@1SSJA yes he is the Unkillable Demon king , i started to play league of legends last year and when i saw him in tournament (lck ,summer split , world 2019 ) its that this moment i understood why they call him like that xD
@Rhys Haughton “The Unkillable Demon King” was giving to him by player name “cool” back in 2013 World who was at the time consider to be the second best Mid in the world
Cryptor AG and SKT was smashing FPX in scrims what’s your point? It’s about what he accomplished in the past. I’m not a Faker fan boy I was just explaining since he asked. Hop off my nuts.
Homie your reaction are legit fire, you're someone who actually cares about what's going on and is slowly diving into the depths of its community, you are a bomb of energy and your whole vibe is great, much respect and love
Skt Telecom T1 is one of the best pro team in the world. The character wearing the jacket is Faker the LeBron James of league of legends if you will. One of the best. The weapons are all references to characters in game.
Faker is renowned as the best player internationally. he’s won the world championship more than anyone else. so in that regard he is like a michael jordan or a bill russell. the crazy thing is he still plays to this day and maintains being one of the best in the world.
3 kind of animation riot does: - music videos to promote a skin line like for kda or giants - world videos there s one of them every year and it somewhat retraces the world championship of the previous year, here it showed the worlds of 2017 where ambition won the tournament it showed the clash of two player at every stage of the worlds ( quarterfinals for the samourai, semi final for the fight in the cave with the crossbow and finals vs the blue mage with the book). - the last kind is just randomn animation they throw at us sometimes with a music in it like the sad mummy boy or awaken and sometimes just raw animation like the climb or annie
Astraphobic dopa’s style wouldn’t fit in pro play since he’s more of a solo queue beast. I mean he’s good don’t get me wrong but you can’t compare two completely different styles in terms of competition and solo queue. Playing in both I can tell you that they both differ. I like dopa too in solo queue however overall the best player imo is faker.
@@astraphobic2518 quick reminder that soloq and pro play are bastly different, you can be the best in worlds but suck in soloQ, or be the n°1 in soloQ but failed competitive. Smeb was number 1 in korea in 2016, but faker beat him and took the title after failing in summer split
Let's start from the beginning: The music video is indeed telling the story of 2017 League of Legends World Championship. And most people we see in the video are pro players using the weapons of League of Legends characters. The main character we see is Ambition, a pro player from Samsung Galaxy (SSG), who we see the trajectory from the ground to the top of the world. In the place where the video begins, there are banners with the participant teams of the 2017 world's. The samurai guy, I actually dunno who he was design after, but he looks like Yasuo, one of the LoL characters. at the end of the fight, if you look at the clouds you'll see a insect like monster as Ambition's shadow. That's Kha'zix, another of the LoL characters, and Ambition is using Kha'zix claws to kill the samurai. After that, we have Ambition climbing up mountains and in the ice wall you can see other people frozen, meaning the whole bunch of people who failed trying. When he enters the lava cave, there's Uzi, a Chinese pro player from RNG, wearing Vayne's weapons and glasses, as Ambition charges into him using Sejuani's. The animal shadow that appears in the lava is from Bristle, Sejuani's boar. This fight actually happened in the 2017 Worlds. And then, after some more climbing scenes, Ambition reaches the final place. The giant statues we can see there are holding the shields of teams that have won the LoL world's before. The final guy that appears is designed after Faker, Korean pro player considered the GOAT of League of Legends, and his jacket is from his team SKT T1. They are 3 times World champions and the scroll and book Faker is reading are from Ryze, another league of legends character. This fight represents the 2017 world's finals, where Ambition and SSG won Faker and SKT, becoming the world champions. In one of the games, Ambition played as Jarvan IV, the character he's using the Lance, and Faker played as Ryze. In the end of the fight, SSG symbol shines in the statue in front of Ambition, meaning they got a place aside the former world champions. The guys that are shown at the bottom of mountain after that are players of other teams startint their own climb as the 2018 World Championship begins. Sorry for the long text, but I think this are all Easter eggs in the video.
As a long time League player, I've been loving the reactions! Just to give a bit more info, all the characters in the video are professional league players from different teams. The final fight one from SK Telecom T1 is known as Faker, and widely considered to be the best League player of all time. They won multiple world championships but finally loss in 2017(to the main character in this video) showing his climb of 4 years of defeats to finally winning. Sorry, nerd moment :P Hope to see more reaction videos!
SKT1: SouthKorea Telecom is the team member of korea 🇰🇷 Lee sang hyeok= faker That guy was wearing blue T shirt was kang chan yong= Ambition, he's also korean and both of them are rivals. He's team member is SSG: SamSung Galaxy
5:10 So the guys you see are Pro players and they use weapons of the characters, like the spear, the daggers and the crossbow. And there is 1 character called Sejuani that rides on a big boar
@Scru Face Jean The video is a story of SSG Ambition who fought his way to the finals through a lot of famous pro players. His multiple weapons are the Champions(characters he used). The guy with the arrows is UZI the most famous player from China using the weapon from his signature champion Vayne. The SKT T1 player Faker is the GOAT with 3 world championships under his belt. Undefeated at every world championship he participated in up to this point. They faced each other in the Finals and for the first time Faker fell to Ambition and Samsung Galaxy team. (Faker’s signature champion is Ryze a rune Mage, hence the book and magic. ). Then at the end it shows the new challengers for the 2018 world championship looking to Rise and climb the tournament mountain to dethrone the new champion.
the credit scene in the end is "UZI", one of best AD Carry player in the world. When this video release, Uzi has won all of champions on 2018, 2 LPL champions, 1 MSI champion, 1 Rift Rivals champion, so RIOT put him in the end means it's could be the year of UZI, but he didn't win worlds 2018 in the end. Another team from China called "Invictus Gaming" was the 2018 winner.
Basically the story behind this video and the characters : The main character is Ambition (Jungler for Samsung Galaxy) who's climbing the mountain of the world championship and he face 3 incredible player with their signature pick (The champion in League of Legends they are the best at) He first face Perkz and his Yasuo (the Samurai man) wich he crushed 2 games to 0 in the group stage. He defeat him with Kha'Zix's Claws Then, he continue he's ascension to face Uzi (from the team RNG) with his Vayne. Uzi is known to be the best adc (a role in LoL who is super important) of all time but he never won a World championship, he's like cursed or something I don't know but anyway. He just manage to escape from Uzi with Sejuani (A character who's riding a big I don't know what kind of animal it is, that's where you thought he became an animal or something) because RNG (The Uzi's team) beat the SSG team (The Ambition's team) 2 times in group stage. He's continuing he's climbing and arrive on the final stage, where he see the statues of all the team who has won the world championship. Fnatic - TPA - SKT and SSW And then he face, in final, Faker, who's playing Ryze (one of his best signature pick, there was a time where he had more than 80% winrate with this champion on a profesionnal level, and that's huuuuge) Faker is known to be the best League player of all time, he's like the god of league, the final boss, the one you have to defeat if you want your career to be complete. Sk Telecom T1 just built a Dynasty, they won 3 world championship and Faker never left this team. SSG just CRUSHED SKT in a 3-0 Final and ended their Dynasty. Ambition is shown with 3 Character in this Video : Kha'Zix -> Sejuani -> Jarvan, his main 3 champions for these worlds.
SSG (Samsung Galaxy, a Korean LoL pro team) Jungler "Ambition" shows with other teams' flags around him , Ambition was widely considered to be the best player in the world who had never won a World Championship, and the video is released to tell his story and build hype and publicity for the next year's world finals. TIMESTAMPS ARE ALL FOR THE ORIGINAL RISE VIDEO 00:00 turn the volume all the way up, you can hear Quickshot (A LoL play-by-play caster) casting game 5 of S7 finals in which SSG lost that's why Ambition got thrown to the ground looking exhausted with all the defeated teams' flags around him. 00:13 Ambition picks Jarvan IV, Kha'Zix and Sejuani's weapons (the champions he used in S7, all characters in LoL) 00:43 "Perkz", the midlane player for the European team G2, shows up as Yasuo, a champion he played when SSG beat G2 in Worlds group stages (Also during their battle, the grain is cut into the hitboxes for the skills those actual champions use, thats the areas of damage for certain abilities in game that those two players were using to fight) 01:13 Kennen shuriken lightning, a nod at another player in that game who played the character Kennen to great success if I recall correctly. It's a nod to his teammates contributing to their victory. 01:28 Cave looks like Olaf might be RNG's jungler MLXG. 01:32 RNG ADC player Uzi as the character Vayne, RNG is a chinese pro LoL team that was against SSG in group stages. 01:34 Ambition got shot in the glasses but didn't die. (SSG lost to RNG in group but still advanced as 2nd) 01:43 Ambition got shot again (lost to RNG twice) 01:51 Ambition called Sejuani and made it out of the cave (Ambition used Sejuani in both games against RNG, the video didn't show he defeated Uzi because he never did, he just made it out of the cave, RNG was later defeated by SKT) 02:00 Samsung championship skins + Elder dragon (The AR dragon at Bird's Nest in S7 Finals stadium) 02:11 FNC and TPA, S1S2 champions in past year's worlds finals, two other historic pro LoL teams. 02:12 SKT, S3S5S6 champion. There is a dimmed statue might be referring to S4 champion Samsung White which no longer exists. 02:18 You know who this is. It is Faker, a Korean midlane player who is widely considered to be the undisputed best player of all time. He is referred to in Korea by a nickname that literally translates to "Unkillable Demon King" 02:20 SKT three stars because they won worlds 3 times. 02:47 SSG won S7 worlds, their statue is lit in the statues of champions. 03:02 S8 about to start 03:03 Gambit's Darius. Logo on his back., another LoL team. 03:05 Kabum gaming Kalista (adc TitaN used it 3 times this year, also according to comment "orange sleeve" is a Kabum thing, unique player quirks.) 03:13 Flash wolf and Team Liquid, KT in the background on the high rock. 03:14 comes FNC, and lastly UZI they make up for the top seeds from the four regions. 03:24 RNG Uzi again, ready for redemption. Hopefully this makes the video more interesting!!! Would love to see a reaction video where you went through and reacted again with the context, and tried to notice all the little touches. Keep it up though, man!
This video was based on the 2017 League of Legends world championship. The main character throughout the video was named Ambition a very veteran player who made his climb through the tournament to ultimately win it in that year and this video is commemorate the accomplishment. The weapons he had were the symbols for the champions he played throughout the tournament to the best ability Kha'zix, Jarvan IV, and Sejuani. The first person he fought is a European player named Perkz who was touted as the best player to be representing that region at the tournament and a very good Yasuo player(the samurai armor and weapon represents that). The next person he fought was Uzi who has been historically known as the best Chinese and ADC player in the world for many years, he woke up at the end because in 2018 was the year he was expected to win his first Championship but fell short, to Perkz actually, but that's beside the point. The last person he fought is Faker the very best player to have ever touched the game, his nickname in Korea is the unkillable demon king because he was just that good. Faker won every single world championship that he qualified for until Ambition beat him in the Grand Finals in 2017. Additionally the "lion" is actually a champion in the game called Sejuani who's flail can be seen, that's their weapon. Uzi was dressed as his signature champion vayne, and Faker was dressed as his Ryze. Last thing SKT T1 is a very renowned League of Legends team that has three world championships, many first place finishes in the Korean League, and MSI championships.
This videoclip is like something in 1th person. Because in the game, we aren't the caracters, we are the summoners who has summoned the caracters to figth in a map (frequently summoner's rift). And this people figthing represents the us, the players! And because of that, this clip is so damn cool. The song is about the players who train to get better and get in the high elos or get in the competitive cenary. (And I sand to u a hallo from Brazil ♡)
The video follows the story of a Pro league Player called Ambition, when he was part of the Samsung Galaxy team, as he climbs the 'mountain' of the world championship. Every fight shows him defeating the iconic member of the teams he fought to get the cup. The first fight in the field is him fighting Perkz the captain of G2. The second fight in the lava chamber he fights UZI the star player of RNG The third and last fight at the top is him fighting and finally overcoming Faker, the best LoL player who plays for the team SK Telecom T1 and who is 3 times world champion. At the end after he beats Faker you see him cheer as the symbol of his team is embedded on the statue in front of him, next to all the other teams who have won the world championship in the past. And then the end shot is of other iconic players starting their climb to reach the top of the mountain.
The protagonist of this video is a Player named ambition, he's a famous Korean jungler that changed roles from mid and rose above the competition. The first guy with the sword is named Perkz, the face of the best organization in Europe, third was Uzi most acclaimed Chinese Player, and last was Faker, most famous Player in the world
When he appears to turn in to an animal behind the lava its referencing the ice flail he was holding that belongs to a champion named Sejuani, a freljordian warrior that rides on the back of a giant tusked boar
The star of the video is "Ambition", a pro League player whose team (Samsung Galaxy) won the 2017 Championship. The weapons he picks up throughout the video represent the characters he played throughout the championship. All the characters he faces off against are also pro players... opponents his team beat during that championship. First is "Perks" from team G2, Second is "Uzi" from IG (I think) Last is the legendary "Faker" from SKT The statues at the top of the mountain have the symbols of each team that has won the world championship for the previous seven years, with the SSG logo appearing at the end when he conquers Faker. The entire video is packed with this kind of symbolism, and is a representation of the championship journey. It's also a sweet music video, too!
The person wandering around is a player who won the world championship and the video tracks his enemys from opposing teams. Every player has the weapon/skills of a playable champion in the game. The logos are the logos of the teams ( eg Sk telecom T1) participating.
Its actually sick watching this through the eyes of someone who doesnt actually know all of the little intricacies and references still enjoying it because with all the knowledge of history of the game it gets even better
*Scru sees Faker: "I will say that these look like the least threatening people ever." 😂 Love you, Scru, Faker is a legend in his own right. If you matched up against him trust me, you'd be scared. 😂😂
The guy in the sk telecom t1 uniform is the best player in this game. His existence in the league community is so strong that, getting to see him in a game or irl is a blessing, winning against him in a 1v1 is a milestone worth of an achievement and winning against him in a world tournament engraved your name into league of legend monumental pedestal. He is Faker
The interesting thing about seeing your reactions is that you really don't know anything about the game and your impressions are about what you are seeing without knowledge and the feelings that it causes you, both music and video. I am very happy to see a youtuber who is dedicated to stepping on a new territory and asks everyone to accompany him with comments on his journey through this beautiful world that is League of Legends. Greetings from Argentina =)
As you must already know the names, 5:31 it's not Ambition beat Uzi at that part, it's just he escaped from his relentless aggression, it's a reference to RNG (Uzi's team) and Uzi himself playstyle, they also beat Ambition's team, SSG, in that way, the 2 arrows that Uzi landed on Ambition are also a reference to the 2 victories RNG had over SSG in the group stage, they went 2-0 in the head-to-head, he escaping is a reference of his team still surviving the group and qualifying to quarterfinals. 8:21 That's Uzi again, awaking after his 2017 loss to SKT T1 i.e. Faker, who, although it's not showed in the video, Faker beat him while also trying to make it to the top. RNG were dominating internationally that year, 2018 until the world Championship, RNG were one of the favourites to win it all. There's implied that like SSG before him, who made history by stopping SKT's sport dynasty, Uzi was going to make the same, having another chance to write their name in the history and stop the Korean domination in League of Legends, in the end, China stopped it, now, they're the best region since then, but, instead of RNG, it was iG who won that World Championship.
I've been a Glitch Mob fan ever since I was a kid in High School, so seeing them appear on a league some ten years later was an amazing feeling hahah. Glad you're enjoying all of these videos!
I appreciate his genuine reactions and willingness to learn about what the fuck he’s watching instead of just sitting there with a semi blank expression the whole video
This is like their holy grail of easter eggs / references. There are dozens of references in this video, including to players (representing in-game characters), characters from the game and teams competing in the world championship (in the start you can see weapons from many characters and flags from a bunch of teams [also in the back of the "new chalengers" that show up at the end]), in-game skins, matches that happened in the previous year's world championship. There's even a page in the "SKT T1" dude's book saying stuff like you gotta eat broccoli to win, which was a running joke at the time.
this is a representaion of the previous world championship (2017), it followed a player (Ambition) and the champions he played, showing the people he beat (and their champions) to win. the last guy (Faker) is one of the best players of the best team (SK Telecom T1). when he beats him, you can see his team logo light up on the statue next to all the statues of previous championship winners. Also I want to add, what makes this even more epic, is that couple years back Ambition was considered one of the greatest, but Faker beat him later winning 3 titles, leaving Ambition in the dark. so this was such a satisfying win for him. When people react to league videos and see the amazing animation but see the actual gameplay, its nothing alike. but if you are into the game, like myself, these videos are how i see the game, like when im playing and do combos, i picture it in my head just like these videos depict it. when my character slashes at somebody it looks like whatever, but i feel the intensity of it like the battle in field, it gets intense.... nerd alert lol
Nice to see you get hype for the music and animation for this one too. I am sure others have already left long comments explaining the video's story. This one refers to players, more specifically the pro players who play in the world championship tournaments. The people are models of real life players...the weapons are the weapons used by characters ingame...their tools...in more than one use of the word, for msking their way to the world trophy. The moment at the end with all of the people climbing. Was to show that the one at the top is being challenged by new guys now. And i do watch to the end. Just as you have read to the end. Ty.
SKT T1 is like the Lakers of the League community. The player they were showing is Faker who is currently the greatest player in the game or the Michael Jordan of our esport. The video was shown the rise of the team that won in 2017 and the final challenge was the 3 time World Champion Faker. Glad you are enjoying the music. I also got into league when I found out about the music. Keep up the great reactions loving your music insight.
ALSOOOOO the amazing thing you´re seing in this video is the fight between two team!!! And NOT simply the fight between characters on LOL that you actually see on every other cinematic which makes it even better!!! IT´S THE FIgHT BETWEEN TWO TEAMS MAN!! It´s awesome!!!!! i know this is late yet i felt the need to clarify!! Kepp the awesome job! :D
Your videos are so wholesome! I love how you appreciate every little effort the creators put in their creations and you're just vibingggg to the music 👌
the guy with the SKT T1 hoodie is Faker , proven to be the best player to ever touch league of legends with his back to back world championships and his crazy gameplay, reaction time, reflexes ect. he’s basically a god to us, the michael jordan of e sports.
Have to react to "This is War" Series by Falconshield The Band. It is a collab of gamers and even voice actors for League of Legends and it is epic. It isn't produced by Riot so there isn't much on the animation side but there are bars and great voice acting ( as if the champions from the game were rapping )
That man is Ambition, the former jungler for GenG when they won Worlds in 2017. He was one of the oldest pros in the world and had considered retiring after SKT beat them in the finals in 2016, but stuck it out and returned the favor. The man he beat at the end is Faker, SKT's midlaner and widely considered the best player ever.
So basically, every fight is between characters of the game with their faces changed with those of the best players of each team taking part in the World Championship.Every fight scene is referencing abilities within the game. The character that is in the first fight up till the very last one is the one fighting all others as he had won the World championship the previous year so that's why he manages to come on top of them all at the end.The more the fights continue the harder they get,and thats why in the last one,the guy with the SKT T1 Telecom jacket is highlighted so much as he is the best player of all time being in the best team of all time. The end shows other teams rising for the next World championship (that happaned a few months ago),and lastly post credit scene was about the best player of league at that time period who was trying to earn his first championship as well.
The main character that goes throughout the whole song is "Ambition" a player who originally got overshadowed by the last person he fights on the top of the Mountain. After years of not winning the World Finals he came back and beat the team SKT T1 (SK Telecom). SKT T1 is considered one of if not the best team ever in LoL with "Faker" (the guy at the top) leading them to victory as the GOAT of LoL. The first person he defeats is a European player "Perkz" who is a great player. The second person he defeats is a Chinese player "Uzi" who is regarded as the best Chinese player ever and one of the greatest globally for the role he plays in the team. The statues at the top of the mountain have symbols on them representing past winners of the World Finals. When Ambition fights Faker and the "RISE!" kicks in the champion that is shown for Faker is called "Ryze" and is Faker's signature champion. Throughout the video it shows Ambition and his signature champions: Kha'zix (the one with the two curved blades); Jarvin IIII (the one with the spear, also the face that appears at the end for Ambition); and Sejuani (the one where he turns into a boar and swings the mace at Uzi). You got it right that the end of the video was others climbing their way to the top for the next World Finals. The after credits scene was Uzi again showing that he isn't dead and will also be back next World Finals to try again.
This mv features league's irl pro players and their weapons represent the champions (characters) they played with. If you wanna see a league mv with the actual characters being badasses and fighting I highly recoment "awaken".
I only saw the second video of yours but I already like you :) In my opinion, riots "awaken" is one of the absolut best videos they´ve ever done, if you are searching for new riot stuff.
And these are pro teams, the last dude with the book is a player named Faker (pretty much the Lebron/Michael Jordan of league) and the main character of this music video beat him and they made a video for him Rising above all the other pro players
So each person you see is an irl Professional League of Legends player. But the weapons that they're using in the video are the weapons from the champions they played in world championships 2018. The song is all about rising to the top of the championships, also the fact that the last guy we see with the book is Faker (he's considered the best League of Legends player ever) and Ambition (the main guy we watch rise in the video) was able to beat Faker and his team. Which was incredible since Faker was unbeatable for 2 years in a row but has won 3 championships in total. The next song to check out would be Legends Never Die from League. I love seeing people outside of league get just as hyped as we do over their songs and videos. I love your reactions and its very fun to watch, keep up the good work and I'll be waiting for the next video!
He is a pro player defeating other players while using weapons and abilities from champions in the game, and the T1 guy in the end is known as the best player in league, who was defeated one year before that video went up by the other guy's team, who rose to the top....
no lie, you really vibing with these league songs as hard as I do. It makes watching you and your reactions to the songs really fun. Swear I smile every time I watch one of your vids. I am super happy you are open to learning about league and learning about a whole bunch of different music styles. 100/10 I am glad you got in to my recommended some how and I plan on sticking around for awhile. You got an energy that is infectious :) Keep it up! Sub'd.
Basically the main character of the video is a pro league player and the story of the video is a representation of him climbing from his loss at the World Championship last year (the beginning shows flags from different teams who have lost at Worlds previous years). So every different fight is a different encounter with other well known League Pros who are also trying to climb to the top. The final fight is against the best league player and he and his team were able to be him to win a Worlds Title. Then the end end clip is the arrow dude from before, Uzi, getting back up from his loss to try and win this world championship (his team was the one everyone thought was gonna win worlds, or at least hoped would win) Also, theres another version of this with a Korean Rapper with some hella nice flow if you wanted to watch that as well :) Also, i watched til the end
skkt1 is a south korean team "south korea team 1" is the team with the most world championships in the game, and this guy with the jacket is the "faker" the star of the game with his own method of playing the game, and this book he reads and the parchment on the back is a character fantasy "Ryze" of the game, one of its most iconic champions.
The characters are pro League players, the weapons/things they transform into are the champs that they play/are famous for. It's about grinding up to beat the reining champ. Also for video recommendations, Awaken is great in terms of revealing character personality. " As we fall" is a lore mv, about the champ Varrus that is stunning.
Each weapon/thing they us, is representing a champion, the Purple Blades are for Kha’zix against the blade wielder is for Yasuo. The next one was the Flail repping Sejuani (and she has a boar hence the animal in the fire) against the crossbow which is Vayne. Then the last one was the speak for Jarvan IV against the book reader Ryze.
so thats the pro player ambition using the weapons and abilities used by the characters he played in the championship, theres alot of flavor in this video
This is a video illustration of one of the greatest climbs to the top by a player and organization. Ambition is who it follows ! Look the story up it’s such a great story !!!
Each one of the weapons he uses, including him "transforming" is a character that you can play. The purple claws are Kha'zix, the "samurai" is yasuo, the crossbow is vayne, the blue crystal whip is sejuani who rides a massive boar (the lion lookin' thing), the final fight is between jarvan 4 aka j4 and ryze. This is characters only, if you want you can watch champion spotlights to understand what each champion does.

Pentakill mortal reminder
So they barely made it in.
didn't know it was suppose to be kha'zix, because I didn't recognized the weapon...
He didn't beat Uzi so in Rise he just ran away with 1 arrow on his shoulder. Uzi so freaking tough
He didn’t beat uzi in the real tournament in 2017 uzi was illuminated by SKT but in the video it showed that he got one shot because in the end of the video it was shown that he woke up from being knocked out
Just a quick correction, ambition actually faced perkz in the group stage. In the quarter finals he beat kingzone dragon X, the best Korean team of that year
" This guy looks like the least threatening person ever "
All the league players : *HEAVY SWEATING*
The character in the video is a pro league player who comes across opposing team members while "Rising" to the top of the world.
the pro league player has the abilities of the champ that they were using that season.. it's why the guy with the sk telecom t1 jacket on (whose name is Faker: and he's highly regarded as one of the greatest league players of all time) was using mage abilities bc he uses mages
It's not just "any" person, iirc it's either Caps or Perkz; all the people he fights are the leads of teams he fought against the year before, and all the weapons used are references to the champs that played an important part in those series.

Awaken is my favorite LoL song

3 kind of animation riot does:
- music videos to promote a skin line like for kda or giants
- world videos there s one of them every year and it somewhat retraces the world championship of the previous year, here it showed the worlds of 2017 where ambition won the tournament it showed the clash of two player at every stage of the worlds ( quarterfinals for the samourai, semi final for the fight in the cave with the crossbow and finals vs the blue mage with the book).
- the last kind is just randomn animation they throw at us sometimes with a music in it like the sad mummy boy or awaken and sometimes just raw animation like the climb or annie
You forgot the theme song for champions. Even ‘Warsongs’
Awaken and the climb are the cinematic for the new season
Amumu the Sad Mummy and Get Jinxed are character songs
you forgot that riot lunched 2 metal albums for the skins of pentakill

@darkdragonoftheabyss Personally I believe its close between Dopa and Faker, but I'd give it to Dopa.

Let's start from the beginning:
The music video is indeed telling the story of 2017 League of Legends World Championship.
Sorry I'm late, but, the samurai is Perkz from G2 Esports
This is fantastically written and communicated! Thank you! I have watched the video multiple times now, and ever time I catch some new reference!

Ambition story is soo touching ... I dont mean only the 2018 year but whole story ... Its heart wrecking whit happy end :) He deserve this one ;)
Basically the story behind this video and the characters :
The main character is Ambition (Jungler for Samsung Galaxy) who's climbing the mountain of the world championship and he face 3 incredible player with their signature pick (The champion in League of Legends they are the best at)
He first face Perkz and his Yasuo (the Samurai man) wich he crushed 2 games to 0 in the group stage. He defeat him with Kha'Zix's Claws
Then, he continue he's ascension to face Uzi (from the team RNG) with his Vayne.
Fnatic - TPA - SKT and SSW
And then he face, in final, Faker, who's playing Ryze (one of his best signature pick, there was a time where he had more than 80% winrate with this champion on a profesionnal level, and that's huuuuge) Faker is known to be the best League player of all time, he's like the god of league, the final boss, the one you have to defeat if you want your career to be complete.
SSG (Samsung Galaxy, a Korean LoL pro team) Jungler "Ambition" shows with other teams' flags around him
, Ambition was widely considered to be the best player in the world who had never won a World Championship, and the video is released to tell his story and build hype and publicity for the next year's world finals.
TIMESTAMPS ARE ALL FOR THE ORIGINAL RISE VIDEO
00:00 turn the volume all the way up, you can hear Quickshot (A LoL play-by-play caster) casting game 5 of S7 finals in which SSG lost that's why Ambition got thrown to the ground looking exhausted with all the defeated teams' flags around him.
00:13 Ambition picks Jarvan IV, Kha'Zix and Sejuani's weapons (the champions he used in S7, all characters in LoL)
00:43 "Perkz", the midlane player for the European team G2, shows up as Yasuo, a champion he played when SSG beat G2 in Worlds group stages (Also during their battle, the grain is cut into the hitboxes for the skills those actual champions use, thats the areas of damage for certain abilities in game that those two players were using to fight)
01:13 Kennen shuriken lightning, a nod at another player in that game who played the character Kennen to great success if I recall correctly.
(SSG lost to RNG in group but still advanced as 2nd)
01:43 Ambition got shot again (lost to RNG twice)
01:51 Ambition called Sejuani and made it out of the cave (Ambition used Sejuani in both games against RNG, the video didn't show he defeated Uzi because he never did, he just made it out of the cave, RNG was later defeated by SKT)
02:00 Samsung championship skins + Elder dragon (The AR dragon at Bird's Nest in S7 Finals stadium)
02:11 FNC and TPA, S1S2 champions
in past year's worlds finals, two other historic pro LoL teams.
02:12 SKT, S3S5S6 champion. There is a dimmed statue might be referring to S4 champion Samsung White which no longer exists.
02:18 You know who this is.
It is Faker, a Korean midlane player who is widely considered to be the undisputed best player of all time. He is referred to in Korea by a nickname that literally translates to "Unkillable Demon King"
02:20 SKT three stars because they won worlds 3 times.
02:47 SSG won S7
worlds, their statue is lit in the statues of champions.
03:02 S8 about to start
03:03 Gambit's Darius. Logo on his back., another LoL team.
03:05 Kabum gaming Kalista (adc TitaN used it 3 times this year, also according to comment "orange sleeve" is a Kabum thing, unique player quirks.)
03:13 Flash wolf and Team Liquid, KT in the background on the high rock.
The second fight in the lava chamber he fights UZI the star player of RNG
The third and last fight at the top is him fighting and finally overcoming Faker, the best LoL player who plays for the team SK Telecom T1 and who is 3 times world champion.
I HAVE WAITED SO LONG FOR THIS
They are real professional players using their characters weapons.
Theese are all repricenting League players in the worlds championships! Truly epic!
I was waiting for this reaction🤣
The star of the video is "Ambition", a pro League player whose team (Samsung Galaxy) won the 2017 Championship. The weapons he picks up throughout the video represent the characters he played throughout the championship. All the characters he faces off against are also pro players... opponents his team beat during that championship.
First is "Perks" from team G2,
Second is "Uzi" from IG (I think)
Last is the legendary "Faker" from SKT
The statues at the top of the mountain have the symbols of each team that has won the world championship for the previous seven years, with the SSG logo appearing at the end when he conquers Faker.
The entire video is packed with this kind of symbolism, and is a representation of the championship journey.
It's also a sweet music video, too!

Greetings from Argentina =)
sorry for my basic English

Bro, you had me slappin the desk at "Animality" LMFAO
this is a representaion of the previous world championship (2017), it followed a player (Ambition) and the champions he played, showing the people he beat (and their champions) to win. the last guy (Faker) is one of the best players of the best team (SK Telecom T1). when he beats him, you can see his team logo light up on the statue next to all the statues of previous championship winners.
SKT T1 is the most titled team in the game with 3 World titles and that is Faker the star player
first I read "tilted" :D
Nice to see you get hype for the music and animation for this one too.
I am sure others have already left long comments explaining the video's story.
This one refers to players, more specifically the pro players who play in the world championship tournaments.
The people are models of real life players...the weapons are the weapons used by characters ingame...their tools...in more than one use of the word, for msking their way to the world trophy.
The moment at the end with all of the people climbing. Was to show that the one at the top is being challenged by new guys now.
And i do watch to the end. Just as you have read to the end. Ty.
"Is it gonna show Thanos still alive"
Well... Close enough I guess 🤣

It´s awesome!!!!! i know this is late yet i felt the need to clarify!! Kepp the awesome job! :D
YOU SHOULD PLAY LEAGUE OF LEGENDS AND STREAM AT TWITCH!! WE'LL WATCH YOU AND SUPPORT YOU XDD
Another iron player shows up lads XD, that will be fun af
“What’s that, he just one shot me? Hello?”
Your videos are so wholesome! I love how you appreciate every little effort the creators put in their creations and you're just vibingggg to the music 👌
Damn i'm early
That’s what I like to see
the guy with the SKT T1 hoodie is Faker , proven to be the best player to ever touch league of legends with his back to back world championships and his crazy gameplay, reaction time, reflexes ect. he’s basically a god to us, the michael jordan of e sports.
Have to react to "This is War" Series by Falconshield The Band. It is a collab of gamers and even voice actors for League of Legends and it is epic. It isn't produced by Riot so there isn't much on the animation side but there are bars and great voice acting ( as if the champions from the game were rapping )
I REALLY REALLY LOVE YOUR LEAGUE OF LEGENDS REACTS. YOU ARE THE BEST.
KISSES FROM ITALY
He yells fight but its singing rise God damn man
I was searching the comments for this too lol
That man is Ambition, the former jungler for GenG when they won Worlds in 2017. He was one of the oldest pros in the world and had considered retiring after SKT beat them in the finals in 2016, but stuck it out and returned the favor. The man he beat at the end is Faker, SKT's midlaner and widely considered the best player ever.
Do a reaction to "Phoenix" it's also a League of Legends song and it has a Metal Cover too, probably react to that as well!
You should react to "Phoenix" or even "Legends never die"
You should also react to RISE Remix (ft. BOBBY (바비) of iKON). It's fire too!
"I pause thats how I make a connection to what I am reacting to!" - talks and doesnt pay attention to the video....hmmm...
This mv features league's irl pro players and their weapons represent the champions (characters) they played with.
If you wanna see a league mv with the actual characters being badasses and fighting I highly recoment "awaken".
You should react to League of Legends "Phoenix"
Yoooo!!!! So glad you reacted to this. Love your energy my guy!
Pleasee react to "warriors" from imagine dragons and also react to live performance of it
This the best worlds anthem of all time
New sub hereee
They literaly transform the champion league games in that animation and tha's so cool!
He is a pro player defeating other players while using weapons and abilities from champions in the game, and the T1 guy in the end is known as the best player in league, who was defeated one year before that video went up by the other guy's team, who rose to the top....
I don't know much about the character but I did watch until the end and I love the fact you like to learn about league of legends.
no lie, you really vibing with these league songs as hard as I do. Sub'd.
God damn SFJ I love your energy in every video bro! So hyphy and so wholesome at the same time LOL! Keep doing your thang big boss
*righteous and ratchet (TM SFJ)
God...i just love your reaction on each video
Watched to the end man, I enjoy the energy you bring, it's not fake it's just raw and real. I'll be back for more!
I always love your reactions. not watching it to the end is robbing myself of good content!
Then the end end clip is the arrow dude from before, Uzi, getting back up from his loss to try and win this world championship (his team was the one everyone thought was gonna win worlds, or at least hoped would win)
Also, theres another version of this with a Korean Rapper with some hella nice flow if you wanted to watch that as well :)
Also, i watched til the end
skkt1 is a south korean team "south korea team 1" is the team with the most world championships in the game, and this guy with the jacket is the "faker" the star of the game with his own method of playing the game, and this book he reads and the parchment on the back is a character fantasy "Ryze" of the game, one of its most iconic champions.
Ye, I see where this is goin...
You gonna love Awaken, both animation and music... Beast
so thats the pro player ambition using the weapons and abilities used by the characters he played in the championship, theres alot of flavor in this video
good observation. not just the music, but the animation style too is always different.
Boiiii I love the way you talk and react, you just AHHHH! THX💙
I'm happy that Scru is reacting to some League Of Legends Music
This is a video illustration of one of the greatest climbs to the top by a player and organization. Ambition is who it follows ! Look the story up it’s such a great story !!!
Each one of the weapons he uses, including him "transforming" is a character that you can play. The purple claws are Kha'zix, the "samurai" is yasuo, the crossbow is vayne, the blue crystal whip is sejuani who rides a massive boar (the lion lookin' thing), the final fight is between jarvan 4 aka j4 and ryze. This is characters only, if you want you can watch champion spotlights to understand what each champion does.
