A weapon is as good as it's operator and the training with it. Fighting is only good as its reason. It is a difference when you fight with ( FAITH) ( heart ) or fight with fear of the leader and no cause.
The "Terminator" is a poor execution of a decent idea. See, a normal tank will struggle with several scattered infantry-man, and the "Terminator" was meant to address that. But they put the two main guns side-by-side each other, and the muzzle-brake from both of them makes them wiggle and jump all over the place. It probably is fine for very close engagements on the first shot, but long-range precision is impossible, particularly under bursts of fire.

As for the Tor older anti-aircraft systems, not all, but most, if you look at the photos of the destroyed ones, it is clear that they were not in a combat position at all. They were brought to some kind of position and were not activated. The rocket carriers are lowered in position when the vehicle is in motion. The newer Tor M2s shown in the pictures have lowered radars and the turrets are in position when the vehicle is in motion, which means they were not active. The same with the S400 system, the launcher is in a horizontal position. It seems to me that the Ukrainian warriors are doing an excellent job of tracking these vehicles onto the battlefield towards their positions and hitting them right away before they even activate. As for fighter planes and helicopters, these are acceptable losses considering the intensity of the fighting. And as some have already written "It doesn't matter how great your weapons of war are if your soldiers lack the skill and discipline to execute the mission."

The newer variant Tor Russia has can fire their missiles at targets when traveling , it dosnt matter wether its in motion or not. They have the capability to fire on the move. The Tor has a built in radar on the same chasis,as for s400 the mobile missile launcher truck is a separate vehicle from the radar truck. So maybe the Ukrainians took out the radar truck therefore making the missiles useless without a radar to accompany it. If the Russians didn't activate their radars then that's surprising, because systems like the Tor were specifically designed to shoot down drones & anti-radar missiles, usually a Tor would be protecting the bigger longer range more advanced S-400 system. Don't understand why they didn't do that? The Tor is more than capable of protecting itself and other air defense systems positioned within it's range. It's not like Ukraine's air force has air superiority either. So if the Russians did indeed leave them off then that was the probably the problem. A Tor is a mobile air defense system that can fire on the move and it was designed also to protect frontline positions,assets,infrastructure and also protect tanks & troops on the move (maneuvering formations),so it's baffling why they didn't activate it. Apparently the Tor can target small drones and incoming missiles,it was built to counter those kinds of airborne threats too. The Tor,Pantsir,S-400 are pretty good air defense systems. Especially the versions Russia has,the best variants. The fact that they were able to get destroyed shows good Ukrainian intelligence, precise artillery fire and tactics to counter them. It's still surprising the Ukrainians were able to knock out more than just a few. Each system costs $15-20 million for a Tor and S400 is like around triple that if not more. Don't know why the Russians didn't activate them or use a Tor to protect an s-400 for example,they've got enough systems to do that. Maybe it is incompetence,hard to fathom when the guys surely are trained to know when & where to turn them on/off.

Ка 52 часто может выдержать 2 - 3 попадания из пзрк и даже после этого экипаж остается жив а машина приходит на свой аэродром. Вопрос леопард сможет работать как т 90м? (курды говорят что не совсем). А апач сможет так же летать как ка 52 или он даже не рискнет работать в этих условиях?

But when these numbers and stats, that were derived partially from the Ministry of defense propaganda leaflets and partially from the highly sanitized data from the war games, are tested in the real combat scenarios, Russian weapons suddenly under perform even compared to the oldest Western type systems.. I dont think the weapon systems from russia are weak. They are just not well maintained (like in many NATO armys) and the soldiers are not well trained too. A well trained soldier with an „outdatet“ system can beat a new system with untrained soldiers at any time.

Don't understand why they didn't do that? The Tor is more than capable of protecting itself and other air defense systems positioned within it's range.
It's not like Ukraine's air force has air superiority either. So if the Russians did indeed leave them off then that was the probably the problem. A Tor is a mobile air defense system that can fire on the move and it was designed also to protect frontline positions,assets,infrastructure and also protect tanks & troops on the move (maneuvering formations),so it's baffling why they didn't activate it. Apparently the Tor can target small drones and incoming missiles,it was built to counter those kinds of airborne threats too. The Tor,Pantsir,S-400 are pretty good air defense systems. Especially the versions Russia has,the best variants. The fact that they were able to get destroyed shows good Ukrainian intelligence, precise artillery fire and tactics to counter them. It's still surprising the Ukrainians were able to knock out more than just a few. Each system costs $15-20 million for a Tor and S400 is like around triple that if not more.
Don't know why the Russians didn't activate them or use a Tor to protect an s-400 for example,they've got enough systems to do that. Maybe it is incompetence,hard to fathom when the guys surely are trained to know when & where to turn them on/off.

2nd most powerful army would be China or South Korea. The Russian army is still strong though, they got quantity of everything,tanks,artillery,aircraft,soldiers etc . Still a force to be reckoned with but not the 2nd best. Finland would beat Russia too i bet,they like South Korea have like a million reserve soldiers on top of their big professional army and mandatory service for every man plus modern hi tech weapons from NATO countries. I think Russia would even have a hard time beating North Korea who have millions of foot -soldiers and lots of (old) weapons. It's because the Russian army is so corrupt and ill disciplined and superior officers treat lower ranking ones badly and the conditions are rough,no proper food and medical care generally and the pay is little. There's also a culture of drunkenness and brutality towards their own. A lot of them obey orders out of fear or for money only. That's not a good combination.

I dont think the weapon systems from russia are weak. They are just not well maintained (like in many NATO armys) and the soldiers are not well trained too.
A well trained soldier with an „outdatet“ system can beat a new system with untrained soldiers at any time.
