So when I go back, it'll be a more-informed visit thanks to watching lots of UA-cam videos by TTT and TTTT frieeendz, Lizzo C, Johnny Strides, Sepand, Liam, Ken Continuum -- and more! I'm still saving up funds, so it'll take time. In Montréal, I'm more familiar with where the great deals are in accommodations without sacrificing qualitt. However, with Toronto, where I'd want to stay it's 🤑🤑🤑. For my first visit, I stayed 4 nights at the very affordable Victorian Guesthouse in the Village. The stay itself was quite nice (in a small efficiency room, incl. huge bathroom and a hutch-style cabinet that included a microwave oven and mini-fridge). The guesthouse is walking distance of the ROM. However, during my walk to the nearest stop (on Yonge Street) for the hop on/hop off bus, on my second full day of my trip, I noticed a flyer taped to a streetpost. This was about 2 yards from the guesthouse, and the flyer warned of an unapprehended murderer and possible serial killer. Several men had disappeared. Needless to say I wasn't too thrilled about returning to Toronto for a bit. If I had been staying at a conventional hotel, that news still would've freaked me out, but I at least would've been housed in a place with excellent security -- both visible and hidden. This is why I've said that I'm saving my funds; I'd rather pay big bucks to stay at a well-staffed traditional hotel within 6-8 blocks of Union Station.😀
