Sorry to see this. I've had a similar situation take place a few times at major intersections in Ajax. You just have to make sure nobody is turning as you're crossing (especially when they're turning left at the light and paying attention to oncoming vehicles more than they are pedestrians). It's not supposed to be your job but it's better for your safety, regardless.

Jeez, be careful H. And wear a little blinker at night, especially the rainy nights. You can get them at the dollar store.
