This just absolutely blows my mind. I just started playing the game for the first time earlier in the week. I've just made a start on world 3 and some of the bosses this far have taken me hours and countless go's to defeat. I'm just gobsmacked that there are people out there who can just defeat them on a single try. I mean... even if you've 100% learnt the attack patterns, there's still a bit of an RNG element which could totally throw you. Hats off to you dude!

I love watching masters of their craft at work long after they've broken their own records. The Mexican Runner's constant improvements for this game remind me of Cheese obliterating Super Mario 64, Anthony Caliber blowing through The Last of Us, and Jordy_925's inhuman performances on the level table for Crash Bandicoot, just to name a few. It's nice seeing the runner stick with the game to perfect it so long after its original release.

Idk why but ever since I saw u get WR for Expert and P it’s made me start my own no death runs, I’ve beat CUPHEAD 200% already but any tips that helped you when you first started out

The concept of Hater% is interesting. But what i really love about it is that i get to see how TMR is handling a game that is real hard on all the bosses stages. You really can´t "Fast tactics" them, due to lack of upgrades. Just really amazing showing of skills there TMR

At this point, you really don't have anything to prove to the haters, my dude. You're the premier cuphead speed runner. Even if you lose the world record at some point to some robot-minded individual, you're still astounding at Cuphead.
The hit detection is different in this game to the platformers I'm used to playing, I know this isn't technically a platformer but it definitely has elements. In other games you have to be close to the enemy before attacking. In this game you have to be away before parrying. It's taking me ages to adjust to that.
I mean, it already is a hard game, he's playing it under even harder conditions while aiming for the world record. He has to stay focused, getting hyped may jinx it
The airplane special might be hard to get used to since it cover the area around the character in smoke after the explosion, making it harder to avoid damage.
It's pretty insane ANYONE could have hated on TMR's other runs of Cuphead. I'm pretty sure by the time he's beaten the game most of you hadn't even gotten past the first boss yet.....? Also, TMR seems like such a genuinely cool guy.
This is like, the ultimate payback against haters... when you get so mad you make a new speedrun category that's 1000x harder, and glitchless, just to prove that glitches aren't a crutch and you're still an absolute beast unit compared to them. I've had it up to *here* with people calling glitches cheating. ESPECIALLY this game. It's a PVE GAME. If the weapon swap glitch is cheating, WHO is being wronged? ...I'll wait. Oh that's right, NO ONE. If you don't like it, you're free to not use it. It's already hard enough with it being patched out, not having access to all of the genuinely helpful bugfixes that have come since if you enjoy the glitch.
Pure amount of Bullcrap you have to go through to finish this run is ridiculous. I mean, getting P on all the run and gun levels is a thing. S on all the boss’s is it’s own thing. But like, every King Dice boss as well? With only the peashooter is insane
Don't have xbone or switch so haven't played this but you make it look easy. I imagine people complaining can be annoying when you're this good but I do have to agree that using glitches should never count towards a record but there's no doubt you're a legend.
