Like to say thanks for finding these , I’m to young to have heard these when they were Originally on there . nice to turn on when I go to sleep at night .
Nov 12, 1953 “The Big Rain” One of the strangest episodes of the whole series. Starting with the almost hilarious conversation with the wacked out Cecil Johnson to the wife Grace that habitually was beaten by her husband… long story short… unresolved ending. Thank you for this crazy episode! Btw, Ben Hogan loved Chesterfield cigarettes and eventually lived to die of a stroke at 82, in 1997.
Thanks for taking the time to upload all these great old shows for us :) This one just goes to show how wrong they can be all around, despite how guilty someone may look-motive, means, opportunity...downright declaration of intent-and still innocent ;). Sometimes people have a right to cop an attitude with a cop who has an attitude.
The wife admitted that the husband has hit her, babysitter witnessed the husband hitting the wife, bartender said husband was abusive towards wife, yet they brought husband in while questioning the wife for the first time, and they expected her to not feel intimated?
Wasn't a woman like this found in one of the cases of L.A. Noire? Well, except that broad was dead, this one's just unconscious. But both the girl in the game and the one here were found in the rain and with a shoe missing
I'm glad Harry Bartell didn't go to jail tonight. He's been the bad guy for like 100 episodes. He was a nice ichthyologist once. But lately he's been such a slimeball.
"Since no crime had been committed...." UM.... What!?? Husband admitted to beating his wife, had bruises on his hands, and multiple witnesses said he was abusive?? Welcome to the 1950s I guess! Episode ends with her saying she deserved it and appologizing to the monster... omg... seriously? Also if you're pregnant or breastfeeding be sure to smoke an extra pack a day! Chesterfied cigarettes are great your babies health, our doctors will swear to it!!!
So Grace said Herman hit her at home but not in the street, but no crime was committed. And Cecil will probably spend life in a mental hospital for doing nothing but walking Grace home.
great shows.thanks for posting these.
Thanks for posting these programs they are great 👍

Cecil was the greatest.😹😹😹
No so lucky for Jack and other smokers
@@teresas8173 Jack was petty young when he passed, very heavy smoker indeed.

"Sometimes people have a right to cop an attitude with a cop who has an attitude.". Somewhere a village is missing their idiot....
i learned the hard way to just comply with cops .you cop a additude with aOfficer and your just lookin for trouble.just my experience 🤷🏼♂️
Poor Frank . He doesn’t seem that over weight...but Joe won’t cut him any slack ...”I’m gona see about a transfer” ….hahahaha….love these old shows😎
That golfer sure has a “ raspy voice “ probably been chain smoking those chesterfield straights 😎
He smoked for years- but Ben Hogan, one of the world's greatest golfers, lived to be 84 years old (died in 1997).

“I’m gonna see about a transfer” … poor Frank having to deal with Joes insults
Would they go check out a Woman badly beaten if they suspected fair play 🤔
Room 42 .... Homicide 😎

One of the craziest Dragnet episodes… Cecil Johnson’s interrogations was almost hilarious 😂
Jack Webb is A Savage!!!
You're going the wrong way, Wanda.
Does anyone know approximately when Frank joined Joe?

Wife was covering for the husband, who was guilty as hell. In those days the cops went along with it.
You're forgetting about the kid from Camarillo. The story totally jibes.
So Grace said Herman hit her at home but not in the street, but no crime was committed. And Cecil will probably spend life in a mental hospital for doing nothing but walking Grace home.
Only one comment about cigarettes? WTF?
Good. Those whiny complaints get old fast. If someone doesn't like the ads, they should just skip them and move on.
