I wonder how many people realized that smoking was going prematurely age them and shortened they're lives considerably, just look at Ben Alexander and Jack Webb, 59 and 62 respectively when they died, both looking much older.
Someone that prematurely aged from smoking and drinking is the actor David Janssen. He died at 48, but looked at least 68 if not older. So handsome in the early 60's, but his good looks went quickly.
Attitudes to smoking were very different in those days and air was not great anyway. At school we were told that after a day in town, to blow our noses thoroughly to remove dirt Would'nt do today!
Don’t shoot . I’m all out of shells..😠i considered being a Officer a couple times .. but there’s no way. ………….i would want to ruff up the bad guys .They were just trying to kill Joe. but ran out of bullets. and your not supposed to have any feelings about that 🤷🏼♂️Like extreme anger.. God Bless our folks in Blue . what a thankless job . it sure takes a special kind of person ….And .. we would be screwed without them .
I've listened to all of these at least 10 times each they just never get old for some reason
Weed & Dragnet baby. GET'EM
Poor Frank . But he adds so much to the show. I love the Frank Moments 😎
I Loved 💘 😻 💜 Ben Romero but Frank was good too...
Yeah, even though Ben trained Joe it seemed Joe was always bossing him around!
It's wise to smoke extra mild Fatima. 🚬☠️

Frank put comedy into the show, but the cigarette company made sure that characters lit up and made sure the audience knew it

For some reason I had to stop the vid and light a cigarette 2:07 into it
And the bum a smoke from someone, and offer one to someone, too, all throughout every episode...
Snitching all around …….All of this could’ve been avoided if dude would’ve just bought the coat for $46
Good point 👍
It was probably all the coffee they drank playing cards that kept him awake 😳
Jack Webb is A Savage!!!

Thank God chesterfield is best for me. 😂
Used to smoke the chesterfield butts my old man left in the ashtray
How bad is nicotine that in the test sugar is the good stuff
I can see why so many people used to smoke best for you
Cracks me up when they say "Captain Wisdom" lol.... sounds like a psychedelic band.
28:51- "Next, it's 'BARRIE CRAIG- CONFIDENTIAL INVESTIGATOR', on NBC."
**chimes**
high sugar to low nicotine 🤔Sure that makes perfect sense. Unbelievable the commercials they came up with. Propaganda comes to mind
But in the end, these marketing shenanigans helped to win the lawsuit against big tobacco...
